Ebay say Feedback doesn't have to be honest or factual

I had had a neg a couple of years ago that said slow delivery, the item was sent tracked and showed delivered within 24 hours of payment (paid late one afternoon got there the next morning). I said to ebay that the neg comment was untrue and totally unfair, "life is not fair" said the ebay rep, I was fuming but never got it removed.
When I was given a 3 star for item as described, I told the eBay I thought they had left an average score, and the rep said "you shouldn't be selling average goods, should you". Think they must all go to the same charm schoolYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

My best one was the one I posted about on here where they left a glowing positive mentioning item was superb and delivery fast- and then 1* across the board.
To hear CS try to explain to me as though I was an idiot that that was perfectly logical in that the buyer can have a wonderfully positive experience, yet leave 1* across the board as the individual elements were poor even though the overall experience was positive. I admit to actually losing my temper with the rep, something I rarely ever do and telling them how very sorry I was that they weren't able to get a better job and were instead stuck with spouting this nonsense to people on the phone. I suggested that perhaps night school or some form of further education might put them in a better position for a proper job.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had one of these and used the REPORT BUYER button.
I got back the reply that they send to the buyer stating that this was misleading feedback and that the account could be suspended for doing this.
I only found this out because I queried what I had been sent and eBay (almost) admitted that they had sent me the reply that should have been sent to the buyer and I was assured that the 1* had been removed.
Once again, it appears that the response all depends upon the eBay person "handling" the investigation....I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
Does it still exist? I have not seen the link for it recently.I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0

The report button does still exist but unfortunately, as per another thread, the almost automatic removal of obviously malicious or incorrect feedback has now disappeared.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Had a neg yesterday (first one for over a year), checked the other feedback they have left and found they have left 27 negs out of 30 purchases in the last 6 months. Phoned eBay up and although the guy was sympathetic, he said he couldn't remove it. I asked how this kind of buyer was allowed to remain on eBay as no-one is that unlucky. He agreed and said he will send a note to Trust and Safety but I'm not going to hold my breath.0

I am currently awaiting a response about removing a negative.
I sent an item via GSP to eBay. Their tracking shows it was delivered.
Buyer wants me to refund as he says item was not received, but no matter how many times I tell him he won't make a claim through eBay/Paypal.
Then Left a neg.
4 days and still no response from eBay.Where the !!!! has the Shrug gone!just doesn't cut it...:think::huh: and these don't come close

Check the rules for GSP, have them in front of you and then PHONE eBay and keep phoning until they do something.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
