Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good rubbish collection companies that won't overcharge? Our garage is full of the old carpets and underlay we just took up, as well as rubbish from redecorating. We don't have transportation to take it to the dump ourselves (live in suburban London near a station so don't…

I've seen a few neighbours getting gigantic bag skips filled (the name rhymes with LIPPO). The bag costs nothing but collecting it costs up to around £170 depending on bag size. The advantage i suppose is you can keep the skip on your property for as long as you like and only pay when it needs collected.
Disadvantage is company has a reputation for whinging about how much you've filled and trying to add surcharges if they believe you've overfilled

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.
