Hello,

We're trying to get to the bottom of how many Abbey customers are still without cards. They say they posted the last batch on 31st July, but they will not say how many they posted.

We'd like to hear from you if you are still without a card -- please email us at wakeuptomoney@bbc.co.uk and we can get in touch with you.

Karen

Karen is geniunely from the BBC.
The Abbey have kept this quiet for long enough.
I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
• I liked Abbey national.

Theyre services are quite good. If your missing a debit card then I guess its unfortunate.
I suggest you contact your local branch.

Thank you and hope it helps.

Bye

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Photogenic Debt-free and Proud!
I'm afraid that's just typical Abbey 'customer care' - I've had enough and am now in the process of transferring all my business away from them - as are the rest of my family.
Their customer service has definately gone downhill since they became part of Satander - remember a few weeks ago the online system went down for a weekend and some customers couldn't access their details for a week (myself included).
As a previous poster said - vote with your feet, people! That's all businesses understand these days. :(
And there's no point in going into the local branch for anything - all that happens is they say they 'understand' but there's 'nothing we can do to help'.
About as much use as a chocolate teapot!
:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:
:p I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy! :p
• I understand.

Could you not write to Satander

Do you need a card to withdraw money?
I havent tried it but surely if you do not have a valid card and take ID with you to the bank they cannot stop you withdrawing money.

Funnily enough I didn't even need ID. I took it as I assumed I would. I'm not a regular in the branch. I just handed over my expired card and signed their form.
