I'm not into this either sorry to disappoint you.
sorry your the one calling me a liar, I think you have the inability to accept the truth.
Your were one who brought up the issue I merely "suggested" you tell your call handlers, PCSO's and specials and bosses to record the issue properly and send them the link you have provided to ensure they don't so it again as you seem to wonder the forum telling people how it should be done, (I personally think your too defensive about the forces mistakes being on the forums, they are human mistakes they do happen now and again, do you get brownie points and an extra biscuit with a cuppa for defending mistakes and making people out to be liars on the forum? arrrrggghhh bless!)
Now I know I can I look into the matter I will. but I'm not psychic I didn't know the were going to recharge me for a window that I did not damage and during the week I somehow had psychic premonition that they were going to send this letter to me and receive it this morning so I should look into getting a copy of the LOG number as a preemptive move (that is supposed to be a crime number as you say) and sort it all out before I had the letter before today.
if I had that psychic ability this thread wouldn't be here now would it.
Regardless of log number the advice it seems that it would or shouldn't be chargeable in any case, so your argument about the call handlers mistake and such is a non starter.
so I will look into the log number with the local HQ to see if I can get it and forward it on for the third time to the HA on Monday. Don't worry i'll be polite to your mates on the phone!!.
your job is done here PCSO haggis you may now be dispatched back to motoring to find another member to follow I said I don't have time for a new pet, I don't have tea and biscuits to feed you all day and I'm afraid you'll starve to death in the pen out back.
Thanks everyone who have given help. I will call (local police HQ) and then get hold of the HA and discuss the recharge. I just wanted to find out if they actually could recharge for the window. sorry some people have issues with not being "bothered" and get over loaded with "information" but that's not my problem it theirs.
You've got some real issues, I'd get some professional help.0 -
Its an open forum, what did you expect? that you were going to police itSpicy_McHaggis wrote: »You've got some real issues, I'd get some professional help.

All I did was point out that it should have been recorded as a crime and why.
But for some reason you have a problem with that.
Unlike your posts it was polite and factually correct.0 -
neglected the fact I took your and others advice onboard, your posts called me a liar, accused me of loosing the log number, and the inability to accept the truth but it you who could not accept I was given a log number and had to somehow prove something with a link and go defensive when I told no it what I was given is a log number, the thread was not necessarily about the log number having being recorded as something else that's not the advice I was looking for it was relevant info to the thread to say I had at least reported the window and attempted break in to police, you turned it into an issue about log number and crime ref numbers, that's because you followed me here to make a point and to disrupt the thread for me.Spicy_McHaggis wrote: »All I did was point out that it should have been recorded as a crime and why.

The bit you missed it was never about the log number it was about the fact I was being recharged and if they could in fact do it when it makes no mention in my tenancy, and the fact they repaired before telling me it was rechargeable and the fact they broke a verbal agreement with me, and the fact they made the decision to charge on the 8th, and didn't tell me till the 17th when I received the letter when they had several opportunities to inform me prior to this date.
you made a point that had little help to the issue at hand that the police call handler made a mistake and tried to make out that they couldn't have recorded it like that and implied I was lying even though it has been said that, and linked to, that log/crime number or not they should not be recharging me anyway so your obsession with log number was not helping me with the real issue.
All you proved is that you followed me here where in your post history you've not posted before, you mainly stick to motoring, as do I where we have clashed on topics where your insistent on trying to tell people their wrong, turn everything into a legal argument (like you did here) and generally disrupt threads where you're barely able to keep track of your own posts and what you've said.
When when you run out of steam and make yourself look silly in a thread You tell people they need to seek professional help because you have nothing other than parting comment to say to have the last, which makes you look pathetic.0 -

Where?
And where have I insulted you?
It all in your head, sounds like you have an inferiority complex.0 -
you implied by your comment "your story doesn't add up" im either making it up or lying, like you have been doing in other threads.
like I said it was never about the legalities of the log number being recorded incorrectly and should have been recorded as a crime number. not my problem, not my concern right now.0 -

Did you read the link I gave you?
It's what you local police think about you not me, if they followed the guidelines and the flow chart.
Not having a crime number is your concern right now or else why post?
If you had a crime number you would be asked to pay.
As for the insults I don't think calling me PCSO Haggis was a compliment. Pot and kettle?
Anyway as you belittle the PCSOs and police in general I'm glad to see they don't patrol your problem area. Clearly giving you the service your attitude deserves.
What meaningful employment are you engaged in to help you local community?0 -
18 repairs? 18!! Must be a bit of a dump if you have that many ongoing repairs.0
-
Well any update, did you manage to get your local police to put things right for you?0
-
Good grief.
It was hard enough reading the thread the first time round (and I gave up and didn't respond).
Forgot so started ploughing through the rubbish again for a while, but gave up halfway...
Hope it gets resolved and signed off for good this time.0
