I asked the SW a few days before the CIN meeting whats going to happen after the meeting and was told that we would monitor it for 6 months but nothing was said in the meeting about support or someone coming out to the house.
"monitoring" usually means paying you visits, usually at home. They will likely make suggestions then about techniques you could use, groups you could join etc etc which thy would consider "support".
You will know far more about autism than I but from what I do know sexualised behaviour is fairly common, children (even adults) with ASD can often not understand appropriate behaviours, particularly if they've seen things on TV etc and can act out things they've seen, with no understanding that that's not 'the done thing'. In the same way that all kids need guiding on not exposing themselves in public, touching themselves etc, and then take that knowledge and apply it to other behaviours/ acts. Kids with autism can't always apply knowledge from one area to another similar bu different scenario.0 -
