Goals for tonight
- Check any amazon prices and update
- Call nursery, shift her sessions for the week as it's a hospital heavy one and they all fall when she's due in nursery!
- Send gardener money for pruning the trees
- Find prices on flights/ferries to Ireland for wedding
- Make a list of who owes me what for the slings I've sold and chase politely
- Post up Biggest Losers chart
Only have at most an hour and a quarter until I'm fast asleep, this has been the day of all days. Nothing hugely wrong just hospital, home, messy play, home, new gymnastics class, missed the tesco man, I feel like I've spent all day in the car. Grace is happy though. I feel like a headless chicken. Went to the wrong department in the hospital (thankfully the right hospital this time though) and he wants to add in yet another medication for Grace. Just generally spent all day tearing about, making calls, running errands, needed a large glass of wine this evening!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Stayed up an hour later, destroyed, still not complete. Boo! On the plus side I did convert my nectar points to Ebay credit, I now have £22.50 in there. I never even really use my nectar card as I haven't seen it in months, so also ordered a replacement to go on my keys so I can use it when we pop in for milk, bread etc.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Gosh, looks like you had a very busy day yesterday! Hope today is less manic!
I didn't know you could convert Nectar points into Ebay credit! That's good to know. I tend to use mine in Argos.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I also did not know this about Nectar points! I have about £15 on mine but don't know what to do with them. I find vouchers etc really hard to spend for some reason, it seems like more of a commitment than actual money! I think I'm just weird.
Hope Gracie is ok and stays pox-free Dinah!

How have a missed this thread?! So much to catch up on
Firstly congrats to NIM with the promotion (really glad you've found a job where you look forward to going in!) And it's super exciting about the move to US, LaraRobin will be one of those cool, well traveled kids! When you said NY I got all excited as OH and I are planning to go in a year or so and we could have had some international MSE meet up
But if it's rural NY I think the travel might be too much!
So happy your little girl is healthy too, WendzAnd excited for another MSE girl. After almost everyone having little boys last year I'm feeling this year will be a year of girls! We're expecting a little girl on our side in a few months
Tink - totally not cringe over your mum cutting you hair! :money: OH and I spent about a year cutting each others hair
Hope Grace is doing okay and still pox free. One of my friends is on pox watch with her son too, not fun!
I didn't know you could use nectar points like that! We have about £30 built up from using our card but not really knowing whyWill have to get OH to look into it, he has some app-thingy on his phone.
Hope everyone's well and looking forward to the weekendI'm working a shift tomorrow to get Tuesday off work as my Sister is coming hooome :j 5EVA! Then we're meeting OH's parents on Sunday for a carvery.

I might have possibly cried with excitement when I found out
She just needs to find a secure job earning over a certain amount and be able to prove 6 months worth of wages and her OH can follow her over
He's going to be my new best friend, poor guy has no idea!
It's OH's brother's partner (phew) that's pregnant. So I'm kind of an Aunt, in a common law kind of way. Just hoping OH's Brother manages to find a job/some form of income before their little girl is born.0 -

Ah brilliant news about your sister. It's horrible having a sibling so far away. My brother lives in Oz and no sign of him ever coming back
Fingers crossed for your OH's brother. It must be very stressful if he has no job.
Your house deposit is looking very healthy indeed! Any idea when you will buy?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Aww lovely news about your common-law-niece!
I always think it's so rotten about the laws about bringing your spouse into the country. It's so difficult to support one person with 1 wage, never mind 2 people without claiming any extras and having to pay crazy legal fees to get things sorted! I understand that they have to be strict with letting people in, but why can't they let them get a job, and how is it a good thing to make a married couple live in separate countries for months on end, just because you fell in love with someone outside the EU?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I can't remember if I've already said but awesome news on your sis coming home Cinny! I get to see mine this weekend (she only lives up north so not quite the same but I understand your excitement in a scaled down way!)Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
