I wrote a reply yesterday but hit the wrong key and it disappeared so I huffed off and refused to try again! So... back today for another go!

Cinny, I agree that we need SOTD and AOTD (ahem, that's accessory of the day ).

Hope everyone is OK My OH survived his rugby tour, just about! We had a nice weekend without him, seeing family and friends.

Looking forward to next week as we've got it off work! Woo! I hope the weather is nice so we can have some cheap days just going for picnics etc.

Sounds like everyone had a lovely BHW! We just vegged out massively as the weather wasn't that great until Monday when we hauled our butts for a walk

I feel like a bit of a let down over here!! I'm just planning on wearing some heeled penny loafers what I already have I'd say they're pretty similar to these although I got mine for £4 last year in the sales :rotfl: I showed my Mum who complained they weren't sparkly enough for a Wedding.. but I'm not a sparkly person?! Accessories, I can do I like this flower crown atm.

I'm also planning on giving out some save the dates, really love these ones. Then we're just going to email/text people the URL to watch (totally don't mind sharing here if anyone plans on being bored one day next May/June!)

There is a tiny small chance the Vegas wedding won't happen, say if OH's Nannan says she really wants to see us get married, in which case the DOTD will return as Imma need a longer dress!

Love those shoes though! I think these are my favourite Hooowever, if I was to go all out with shoes for Vegas I'd be tempted to go a little glittery with these.

Ooo Cinny I'm loving the things you've found that crown seems pricy tho! I'm sure they have similar things round Camden Market for a few pounds! I know the one u posted was an idea though when do you think you'll find out about your OH's grandma?

AOTD! Is it bad that if I did get all the accessories/shoes I'd like it'd cost more than the ceremony?! :rotfl: Although on an MSE swing of just using what I have, I do have this bag.

I thought the same about the crown, Tink! But it was all I could find for the dried wild-flower-esq look. Will definitely check out markets nearer the time

Think it'll be a while before we know 100% what's happening, we're waiting until the holiday is booked so it's either going to be a wedding or a honeymoon! It really is just OH's family we're going to sit down properly, as (to put it as nicely as possible) my family aren't all that bothered

Cinny, those bride and groom shoes are so freaking awesome! Love that little book bag too, so cute! I suppose even if you do end up having a wedding over here instead you could make it a little quirky Vegas themed do!

Could you imagine us asking everyone to turn up in tacky American tourist outfits?! Bright coloured shirts and bumbags all round

We got up super early and went to vote as soon as the polling station opened. The 3rd and 4th people to vote! Went to scout out the limited edition Orla Kiely coffee jars and wound up getting lots of junk food to keep us up through the results :cool:

Thanks for all the thoughts. My Dad is doing okay. He had a stroke in September which came out of nowhere as he is so fit and healthy. Luckily he was treated in plenty of time and has no major effects from it. Frightened us nearly half to death though

Oooh I love a bit of Orla Kiely print, will have to see if they have those jars in our local shops! In one of the cheap book shops there are some super cute Orla baby books that I think I'm just going to have to go back and buy. They'd make adorable nursery wall art if you framed the pages

Glad your Dad's not too badly affected by the stroke CMD. Parents being ill is so scary!

This is my last day in work for a week, huzzah! Then it's Birdie's Week of Birthday Fun! :j
