Oooh could you link me the MSE one please Lara? My local one is terrible, I'd say about 10% of things actually sell, and people get really shirty if anything is listed for more than about £1. The only thing that goes up to £3 is shoes, and I'd hope to get about £3-£5 a snowsuit as they're all nice brands and good condition.

    Tuesday:
    • General house tidy
    • Sort all the laundry in our room
    • Call pharmacy
    • Steam clean chair
    • Email lady on next street over I met through facebook last week (oddly enough buying a £3 pair of trousers for Grace) to arrange playdate
    • Book Grace's activities at Center Parcs as many are already fully booked. Planning on doing the balance bikes, ballerina class and pirates and princess party as she loves to dance and dress up, but at the moment her number one obsession is bikes. The rest of the time we'll cycle about with the kids in the trailer, or swim (but we can't do that for too long as Ben drops his body heat even in his wetsuit quite quickly)
    • Post off sold wrap.
    • Book courier for sold iron.
    • Send £30 to mum for car repairs as we were a bit short on what we'd drawn out (another £210 this month on the car... needs new tyres next month too. NIMs is making a funny noise too but I'm purposefully not thinking about it)
    • Fill in all paperwork for new job
    • Email pet cleaner lady (she does deep oven cleans as well as pet sitting and walking. We get a proper oven clean once a year as I seem to cook a lot of food that splatters but I'm very very allergic to chemical oven cleaner and the natural stuff doesn't get it all off)
    • Find mothercare voucher and order Grace some more pants and vests.
    • Find banking clicky
Did anyone see that NHS programme last night? I found the dementia stuff really scary, that so many people have it, that there is so little support, that so many people have no option but to give up their jobs and struggle financially in order to care for their parents or partners as there is no one else to do it. I'm so glad I don't have to make the decisions on who gets the treatment and where the money goes.

Todays list is long, and scary. That chair is annoying me, but I can only clean it when neither child is sleeping.... and if neither child is sleeping I tend to be doing feeding/washing/playing/marshalling so I can't clean the chair! Today Grace is at nursery in the morning, then ballet class at 4. NIM working until 8 I think. Really hoping my new diary arrives today, I'm quite nervous without it.

Anything ticked off a list is a win, so you did well! :)

Good luck getting more done today. Hope you've got bids on everything you listed on ebay, would be fab to have that money coming in! Well done on selling some wraps too. :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

For a day with both kids home that hasn't gone badly. Very calm as Wednesday is my yoga night too. Off to bed now, earliest in weeks. Couple of etsy sales today but no more on ebay. All items have at least 8 watchers on though with 5 or 6 days to go.

Very stressed about packing, I've had to stop for the night as there is a child asleep in both bedrooms with clothes in. I have to get it all done by 12 tomorrow or it won't be done - thats when I need to leave to get my train and I don't get back until midnight Sunday.

I don't know how many of you know this but in my late teens I was very ill with M.E. I slept for over 23 hours a day, for a while I didn't have the strength to do basic things like open a door. It was horrendous. I've had minor flare ups over the years of lack of concentration, itchy crawling skin, inability to focus, trouble staying awake. Currently having my worst flare up since university, I'm relying on caffiene tablets to get through the day, my skin feels like it has ants under it, and it really scares me that it could get worse and I wouldn't be able to look after the kids. Nothing I can do though as I can't get more sleep.

    Hi Dinah,

That sounds very scary. Have you been back to the doctor to see if there has been any progression re: treatment since you were first diagnosed. I think the next day NIM is off you need to sleep sleep sleep! When OH worked away for the year and Evie was just a newborn & Max just 18 months (at the start) I just used to sleep the day after he came home (like a lie in until 11am). Then I would be grand.

Are you excited about the training course?
