Try calling their Exec team on 0800 079 0232 Office opening hours are between 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday or 08:00 and 18:00 on Saturday.

Where they will just refer you back to customer service.

Without wanting to sound blunt OP (although I appreciate it will be), you have no chance.

You have already said you declined an offer from the exec team. You won't get another.

CISAS have not upheld your claim. The only other option you have left is to take Orange (EE) to court out of your own pocket. This is (IMO) unlikely to be successful unless you can prove what you're saying.

I may be slightly biased but I do not believe your story at all. That's not to say I am insinuating that you have deliberately done this - I just don't believe the SIM was cut up as you thought.

Not really, i had a issue with my orange contract that CS could not understand or get to grips with, so emailed CEO and i got call from exec office and they have worked with me and sorted all my issues and due to my issues they reduced my contract from 24 months to 13 months without charge, so i could leave Orange without ant charge.

All this because when my contract phone packed up i was advised to get a PAYG so i could use contract sim, but it was cheaper getting PAYG from EE store rather than CPW, but this was faulty and the replacement CS sent come without a back cover which they could not understand this was not acceptable so useless so they told me to go and buy a cover, so exec arranged a full new retail replacement which i should of got straight away, but this was also fault and i was left 15 days over christmas without a working phone

That was because you emailed the CEO. If you call them without doing so first, they will send you back to customer service.
  • I guess it's usual forum talk then. All opinions no facts.

I'm glad you decided to comment without reading my actual story too.

It's fine if no one believes the story that's not what I'm asking. The reason I said i had it in my possession then changed to it being destroyed is because during the two days I was initially in contact with orange about this, my folks were away on holidays so I was unable to question them. Again I cut this out to shorten it. The sim as well as other things like old passports were kept in the safe and it and others were destroyed by my mother.

I would appreciate if you keep your beliefs or rather disbeliefs off the thread unless you can be of some use. Unless it's more about upping your post count which your more concerned about.

they will try to get you to contact CS, but insist they deal with it as why would CS have more control over their bosses

It is not forum talk and I did read your story - you asked for opinions, I gave you mine. You have no chance.

Admittedly, my opinion about not believing you is somewhat irrelevant.

Can you prove anything you are saying? I suspect not otherwise you would have done so, which brings me back to my original opinion.

They don't have more control than the bosses. They have an escalation procedure which you are supposed to follow and if you haven't, they will refer you back to customer service. The Exec team are there for when you get to the end of the escalation procedure (unless you have emailed the ceo). Otherwise, if the Exec team dealt with every call they got through, they would just be customer service themselves.

I used to work for Orange and still have friends who now work for EE which is how I know.

Edited: and I realise how that may have 'sounded' abrupt - I didn't mean to! - I have a 5 yr old who won't go to sleep...grr!

I have also just seen the part where you said they told you they know the IMEI that made the calls. They can tell who this is registered to and whether there is a 'link' between the owner of said IMEI and you.

And just because you can prove where you were when the calls were made, doesn't mean anything. As per the t&c's YOU are liable for that SIM up until the point you report it lost or stolen (or in your case, thrown away).

And yes, they are perfectly within their rights to send it to debt collectors. They have held you liable for the bill and you haven't paid it. And no regulating body has forced them to stop pursuing you for it. It is also part of the terms that you signed up to that they can pass you details to debt collectors and report payment history to credit reference agencies.

No that cant tell then who nthe IMEI belongs too as it would breach The Data Protection Act, unless the IMEI belongs to the actual account holder in the email or on the phone
