If stopped, why not stay in car, wait until Plod approaches, then cringe behind the steering wheel and burst into tears?
[Worked in the Carry On films?]No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
A friend of mine, on holiday in Arizona, was pulled over for speeding, and reached for his wallet in his jacket inside pocket. The next thing he knew was being pulled out of the car and spreadeagled on the ground with a state trooper aiming a pistol at him. The advice in the US is apparently to stay in your seat, keep your hands in sight on the steering wheel and await instructions. Probably good advice for here too.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

When i had my first car, i had yet to tax it after a couple of weeks (no excuses, i just couldn't be arsed and wanted to use the cash to get my gf drunk to have my way with her) and 2.am in the morning in blackpool on hol i was being tailed by a copper. No blue lights were on, i pulled over then they pulled over. Thinking "Oh sheeet" i got out and approached them as they were typing something in to their computer and pretended to be utterly lost and asked for help, so they lead me back to the motorway, no questions asked. Taxed it straightaway when back home after that!
Just glad he didnt ask how fast i was going, as my answer would have been no idea, the speedo aint working.
Only other time i got pulled was when i thought some chav was trying to cut me up in derby at night, so i floored it and he somehow kept up (wasn't speeding though), next thing is blue lights are on. Didn't get chance to get out the car as i was bundled in the back of theirs, breath tested had a bit of a laugh with them about the undercover astra vxr and then let go with a slap on the wrist for accelerating quickly.0 -

Why is that good advice for here too?
Do you want helpful, fellow human beings (which I'm proud to believe our police generally are); or a police state?0 -
