So glad I left this terrible phone company, money grabbing or what. I was with T-Mobile for 18 years, never missed a single payment in all tha time. Just over a year back, there retentions department wanted me to renew and increase my line rental. I told them to jog on, and went else where. I wont back to these.
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

    Hi people,

    I really need your help.

I am with T-mobile - (out of contract), and I want to dump them - move to BT mobile asap (deal on at the moment for 5 more days only) and take my existing number with me.

I want to avoid wasting money in the process.

Could you please type out a short guide - the best procedure to be used. I think many many people would benefit from this.

    1. Request PAC from T-Mobile.
    2. Order SIM from BT.
    3. Give BT the PAC (may be possible when ordering).
    4. You will receive your next T-mobile bill with a full month's line rental which should be paid as normal. There should be no ETC if you're out of contract.
    5. A few days/weeks later you will receive a Final T-mobile bill which should have a pro-rated refund of the line rental charge from the number of days between giving the PAC to BT and the end of the billing month.

Note: Whatever you do, do not cancel the Direct Debit with T-Mobile until a Final Bill has been received and any remaining charges paid. If there is an unexpected ETC that is not automatically refunded in the Final Bill then dispute it.
