I have a 3 seater Ektorp from Ikea. The one with a plain cover is £275. Mine is over 7 years old and has had been climbed over and jumped on by my four children and is still good. The cover has been washed a few times and is now looking worst for wear especially with my cat testing his claws on it but a new cover is not too dear.

Delux deco would be worth a look for that price range

Remember to check the access and make sure you're sure the sofa will fit through any door or corridors. I just moved into a flat and my only option was go to Ikea as they flat pack although this only just fitted through my living room doorway.

Also just to talk about Ikea for a second when I went to order it online they stated a weeks wait for delivery but when I ordered it in the actual store they did next days delivery...was confused by this.
Next day delivery was £35 + £10 for...get this....getting the parts from the warehouse section and taking them to another department for delivery to my flat!
  • Mum got me some things to deck out my flat recently from this shopping portal called LionsHome - It has John Lewis already on there but loads of those boutiquey UK shops as well. Checked sofas on the search and there was one being sold by John Lewis and then by another shop and it was 100 quid cheaper! Price comparison site for furniture by the looks of it.
    Good luck!

Just a week! I had to wait over a month for delivery and as you state it isn't cheap either.
