  • Hi folks
I hope you can help. My son has a black box on his car and all has been great however his car had to go into the garage for 2 days. While they had it the box registered the car driving at speed on 3 occasions. They have said they may revoke his insurance and fine him. They say even if he 2asnt driving it was his box on his insurance.
I have told him to tell them that the garage drove the car under their own insurance and so this shouldn't effect him.
Could you please let us know what we can do. Ge is training as a nurse and needs his car to get to the hospital.
    Thanks diane

Di, you probably need to start your own thread in the insurance section of the forum to get guidance.

I am frustrated by the cost of of 'nearly' new cars. In the past, you could get decent car which was around the 3 year old at a fair price.

Most of the best deals were ex-fleet cars and you find a good one amongst them.

Cars such as the Zafira around £8k which is a sensible priced, however the seating does ache me and it is not good to drive (for me!).

Other nearly new cars are around £12k for a 4 year model. At those prices, the first owner gets the better deal, new car smell, full warranty, new paintwork, better fuel economy, free servicing (?) etc.... As a second owner, I end up with no warranty, repair bills, poorer fuel economy, wear & tear, ageing car shape....

For some reason, older cars are holding up their values.....

Which insurer is it? Have they issued a formal notice of cancellation or just had a "word in his ear"?
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
