Remember the golden rule - a car's maintenance cost reflects its original price and not what price you paid when bought used.
If you can't afford the new car's price then you are unlikely to afford the repair cost if something goes wrong.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
to be fair on hybrid battery replacement, i just shelled out £1500 to replace a worn turbo on a vauxhall insignia cdti- 5 year old with 60k on the clock.....
hybrid vehicles generally are better for wear and tear as the electric side of things take the most strain, which happens when the car changes from standing still to moving..... this generally affects the whole drivetrain- from the differntial through the gearbox(including the clutch) and the engine...0
