to be fair on hybrid battery replacement, i just shelled out £1500 to replace a worn turbo on a vauxhall insignia cdti- 5 year old with 60k on the clock.....

hybrid vehicles generally are better for wear and tear as the electric side of things take the most strain, which happens when the car changes from standing still to moving..... this generally affects the whole drivetrain- from the differntial through the gearbox(including the clutch) and the engine...
