    Afternoon everyone.
mrsmortenharket, we have had success with tweeting a complaint about an unhelpful tradesman....someone else got in contact and dealt with the problem....this is not the usual style of the OS ers tho:D
got in a quick cycle ride between showers and then endless calls about moving....including the fact that I have no idea how to insure my musical instruments there(CH)
Think i will steam clean the kitchen cupboards and floor next. Warming without the heating on.
do stay safe in the winter weather.

    Afternoon all,

I'm cold and I'm wet and ive just walked back from going to see Mom. She is well and happy enough. I must say ive got a fantastic relationship with the girls who look after her. Mom and I sat in the dining room as she was late getting up and having her breakfast. We'd have a natter then one of the girls would pipe up and we'd all start laughing at something someone had said. I am afraid I am the reason dinner was served at 12.15 instead of 12.00.:o Sarah is now boyfriendless. Sal has gone on a date with her new fella and Amy is struggling to lose the weight she put on over Christmas....

Forgot my brolly and got rather wet on my walk home but I'm drying off nicely. I hadn't been in the house more than 10 minutes when it started to sleet. Looks like the snow has arrived.

Sorry to hear so many of you are suffering with the flu. Last Thursday (or was it the Thursday before) I feasted on daytime television whilst playing with my Grandson and Doctor Chris Steele said something about keeping your nose warm to ward off colds and flu. Bit late for you ladies out there suffering at the moment but for future reference, cover your nose with a scarf if your cold.:)

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

Had one of those mornings after yet another sleepless night.
Pelted own most of the night, my poor garden looks drowned

DH managed to lock his keys in the car outside the bank and had to break into the car to get them, luckily a delivery man helped him and they managed to use a coat hanger and some plastic to hook the door catch up, so no damage, which is a relief.

The man at the bank told me that we are RAC covered as part of our account and that we could have just phoned them from the bank animated-smileys-rolleyes-10.gif

Then a trip to Morrisons for bread and home.

I feel totally cream crackered now, so I think that I willl have a nap.

    BFN x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Aww so touched. Whilst I was at the home visiting Mom I was asked why Mom mentions South Africa a lot when she rambles. I explained it was probably because she married my StepFather in South Africa or it could be because my daughter (her eldest Grandaughter) is in South Africa doing charity work, rescuing abandoned babies.

I was asked a few questions and said I would send a link to the babies in her care.

I sent the link and I received this message back through Facebook. Its really boosted me this afternoon. I don't think anyone has called me lovely before. I must be doing something right.:)
