Its not that long ago that someone on this forum was complaining about drivers using their headlights during the day

I for one would rather see the light on than not see the car and usually have my dipped headlights on full-time at this time of year as I don't think side lights are enough.

Its not about seeing, its about being seen.

My sidelights aren't rubbish, they're actually really bright and really good :j

It's fine and legal to drive with only them on as long as it's a 30mph with street lights

I never use my sidelights so I don't really care whether they are rubbish or not.

The sensor takes care of when the lights go on and off. Its doing a pretty decent job of it so far

I always use my headlights and never just the sidelights.

Mine seem adequately bright also

So much easier to see than those cars parked with no lights on that I manage to avoid without too much trouble

I consider myself cool and a bit of a rebel! Therefore I don't use my headlights, just sidelights and fog lights at the same time. That'll show 'em

Maybe get your eyes tested! If you can't see a big car with sidelights what chance has a cyclist got?
