Anyone know of a product to stop my french doors blowing of the hinges

As the title says, we have had some nice new French doors fitted that open outwards and wonder if there is such a product that looks nice to stop them being blown back from their hinges. The doors open to 90 degrees and there is wall either side of them if that helps on the ideas.....Thanks in advance

The metal stays we had were fitted after patio doors were by same company it consisted of a gold coloured metal plate fitted to the frame and the very top part which you dont normally see on the door, it didnt take long to fit, I cant find anything on net that looks similar though

We had french doors fitted a week ago. Our installer put a hook/eye for each door to the wall. Our doors open 180 degrees. I assume your doors don't open to the wall on either side?

No they only open to 90 degrees, so I would need something long to hook it to the wall.

Things that don't look nice are easier.

How about an eye on each door near the top and then a rope the width of the opening with a hook at each end?

Or a piece of string looped round the two handles?

Or one of those metal brackets that hanging baskets hang from on the wall with a hook on the door that clips to the hanging basket bracket?

I know its not the prettiest of ideas but what about a fancy chain with a hook on it fixed to the wall and then a loop fixed on the top or bottom corners of your french doors? In brass if it matches the handles on your doors?

Then the chain can be left on the wall hooked on itself IYKWIM whan not in use and you just have to hook it on the open door.

    Might be worth a try?

This could be a nice idea barrier_rope_cotton.jpg

and it means you could remove it when you dont need it.
