I've just read the thread and posts that prompted this thread, OP. Ignore the morons, you are EXACTLY the sort of person that the benefits system SHOULD be helping. You had kids when your situation was different and through no fault of your own your circumstances have changed.
You have managed to raise children that have made it to university so give yourself a big pat on the back for that.
Hopefully once your youngest is at school you will be able to work longer hours

Corelli and FakeNortherner-thank you both.I think I'm just tired of being alone for almost 4 years and dealing with everything alone. I'm exhausted all the time because the area I live in is so rubbish and I can't relax at home. Everything I try to write just comes out sounding so stupid.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Ignore that poster, he/she is a moron who already had a preconceived opinion of you (hence their question about number of fathers.)
Trust me, I have a very low tolerance for benefit scroungers but I don't think you are one.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

The majority of people on the forums are helpful, encouraging and supportive. There's the odd one or two who are jealous of what others can achieve so try to belittle them. Seems you've just come up against those odd ones. They don't know you, know very little about you except what you choose to disclose on the forums, and have certainly never walked a mile in your shoes.
At the top of the forums list it says 'Be nice to all MoneySavers'. As they're not, their opinions are worth less than nothing.
You're doing really well, I admire you for your efforts, so don't give in to the ignorant few, just keep posting and getting the support you're looking for.
Hang in there, hold your head up high and be proud of all you have and are going to achieve

No one is worth you saying that your kids might be better off with someone else.
Faceless people on here? If it upsets you so much have a break. Forums are not always easy, there are several people on these boards who have made it plain they dislike me, so what? They don't know me, these people don't know you. There are people who earn much more than you do who claim child benefit. As for having kids by different dads, big deal. My brother and I have different dads, it means nothing more than one relationship breaking down and someone starting another.
I know people who haven't worked in 20 years, if people want to throw the scrounger label around they really need to pick the right targets.
Let them crack on, no one is worth it.0 -
Thank you Sparrer.
