Manifestos #1 - SNP

Following up from our entirely uncontroversial Christmas Quiz, I thought I'd do a little thing on party manifestos and what has or has not been a policy for various political parties.
So first up the SNP.
#Reduce income tax
#Scrap Air Passenger Duty
#Reduce Corporation tax
#Scrap bridge tolls
#Spend more money
#Save money in a Sovereign Wealth Fund
#Make the UK unicameral (i.e. only have 1 house in Parliament so any Government can push through any law on a single majority)
#Change the constitutions of Australia, New Zealand and Canada
Before anyone asks, I'm not going to reference anything as I can't be bothered. I can say that these policies (apart from one) have come from various manifestos held on the SNP's own website. If you don't like what I post, put me on ignore.
Please note that tax and spending are economic matters.

Have I missed something or do they plan to spend more, but tax less, who is going to be their chancellor, Merlin?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

They plan to spend more and tax less and have specific tax cuts identified for the low paid and for corporations.
There is an implication in the EU manifesto that taxes on the rich would be increased but no stated policy.
When oil was at $100/bbl the Scottish budget, had it been separate from the UK's would have been broadly the same as the UK's as a whole, i.e. in quite a substantial deficit yet despite this they plan to reduce taxes, increase spending and put money into a 'savings account'.0 -

AIUI, devo max, the preferred fiscal policy of the SNP, means Scotland has full fiacal responsibility. She spend what she earns.
I think that Devo Max would mean the end of any thoughts of independence.0 -

Its not that I don't like what you wrote. Its just that some of the above are hopelessly out of date..( tolls scrapped years ago ! ) And you're misleading saying its the SNP manifesto. Its just a random bunch of stuff you've taken from websites. Why not just wait until the actual manifestos are announced ( from all parties ) ..they'll be out soon enough. Until then, you're just guessing. Salmond ain't at the helm anymore...It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

The policies all came from the Euro elections manifesto so are from the most recent manifesto available. Is it likely that the above policies will have changed drastically since 2010?
Out of interest which policy do you think is incorrect? Unilaterally changing the constitution of Australia perhaps? Or of the UK? Or taxing less and spending more whilst setting up a pot of saved money?
I do find it funny that supporters, or even members, of political parties criticise me for writing down a bunch of their own party's policies!0 -
To be fair most parties are going to run with manifestos of spending more whilst cutting taxes or at least keeping them broadly the same.0

Remember that the SNP are quite different from the (failed, corrupt, dishonest, discredited ) Westminster parties.0 -

Thought the SNP were the anti austerity party? Now the boots on the other foot. Going to require a major rethink ahead of the May elections. Quickly too. As politicians have little control over current global headwinds it seems.0
