What grief is there in ignoring a bunch of scammers - Why not simply tell your parents you are the victim of a scam and get them on your side?

And in Scotland, there is no effort whatsoever required in seeing-off a PPC ticket.

Why are you trying to make this more complicated/difficult than it is?

When it gets to having to do this... I'd almost rather just pay a token to them (hence I'm interested in how I would go about offering them a lower amount) to stop it all. Thats maybe unjust, and I should have more principles, however it's not worth the grief of a) ignoring them at my parents address or b) having to invest time in trying to get the PCN dropped.

Hassle? An email to Head Office of Morrisons...which will take 2 seconds to Google for 'Morrisons contact us' like any other company.

If you offer a lower amount guess what? GUESS WHAT?! They say NO. It's a pointless idea and admits some liability and makes them think you are mug to be prodded a bit more with scary letters and you might just fold and pay up. Stop stop stop.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Also sent the appeal 'template' off to them (even though it's tailored to a England and I admitted I was the driver in my first appeal)

WHY, WHY, WHY?

This is just going to have the effect of them seeing you panicking about this and will hound you even more than they would have done. You're seemingly wanting to self destruct on this.

Please take forum advice. IGNORE means just that!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Reached out to Morrissons head office but I'm not holding out much hope of the local store couldn't do anything. Also sent the appeal 'template' off to them (even though it's tailored to a England and I admitted I was the driver in my first appeal). I suspect the PCN won't be dropped, but I'll ignore in the assurance of your good folk that no debt collectors will turn up at my door or on the phone. I do believe it will never come to court and I'll never have to pay effectively, it's the grief (at the parents) which is my concern. Thanks for all of the advice

Do you know a grown up who could read this thread an explain the contents of the replies to your posts?

Dunderheids like this must be the reason why PPCs exist!

The advice within the replies even here have been differing and conflicting, as per the advice online. I was told twice to send the 'template' off and now I'm hearing otherwise. Yes though, the consensus, being based in Scotand, is to ignore, and that is what I am going to do going forward...

I am greatful for the advice

The advice, as you noted in your original post, is to ignore. You then stated you had appealed which is why people came in with subsequent advice.

Had you taken the advice you noted prior to wasting your time appealing then this thread would be a lot shorter. ;)

Coupon-mad was actually out by about 23 seconds in the time it took me to find the contact details of Morrissons CEO.

Dalton.philips-ceo@morrisonsplc.co.uk

Dear Mr Philips, I received a parking charge notice PCN number XXXXX from *insert name of Parking Scam Company here* and my parents and I are frightened by the intimidating tactics of the parking company who are pursuing this fake unenforceable charge.

Please instruct the PPC to cancel the above PCN at your ealiest convenience whilst my parents and I consider whether to remain loyal Morrisons customers or move to a more customer friendly supermarket chain.
