Still not spent anything this month up to yet.
For tea DH & mum had sausage, mash and veg whilst I had sausage and even more veg.
Am thinking of changing our shopping day to Wednesday as A1di is so busy on Thursdays however I am not sure we want anything yet so may just go to Morry's on Saturday this week. Will decide tonight.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Hello. I am in this month for £400. I have 2 A*di vouchers to use tomorrow and have done two lists for just over £40 each. I also need F*rmfoods for a few additional bits.
So far this month I have spent £12.44 at M*rrisons and £26 on takeaways/chippy; my treat for staying up most of the night completing an assignment. I am allowing for 2 takeaways this month.
So that takes my spend to £32.44 for the month.
I have my son's birthday in 2 weeks so that will mean buying party food and cake ingredients next week!! I haven't actually allowed extra for this so will have to try and keep costs down somehow.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Hello all. My GC hasn't got off to the best start as I didn't get home until 9pm yesterday, which I wasn't expecting, leading to an £8 spend at the chippy for hubby and I, followed by a £1.60 trip to Greggs today. No, the health kick isn't going too well either...
Main weekly shop at A*di tomorrow, voucher in hand. Freezer still pretty full so shouldn't be particularly big.March GC: 67.02/220.000 -

Grrrrrr, i gave in to temptation today and went to the chippy next to my office after work for fish & chips and soft drinks!
There are 2 problems with this:
1. I am fat, and don't want to be
2. I'm skint this month and need to stop spending money on rubbish when I have a house full of food!!!!!
£6.80 spent, and I really am gutted. I've got to go out for meals on Saturday and Sunday too, so chippy would have been best avoided!
Oh well, onwards and upwards. I will use up Sunday's leftover chicken for sandwiches tomorrow.2025 goals

I like to think that I'll get everything, including B12, from my diet.
Catherine- i am growing my own stuff too. I am growing in pots, so bought some seeds from Wilko that are suitable for container growing.
Potatoes, onions, carrots, dwarf beans, spinach, salad leaves etc.
Hoping that it starts getting warmer soon, so that i can grow
I take multivitamins with extra iron and calcium tablets...Regardless of what I eat.
My weekend plan is to build a mini greenhouse and start some seeds off in the kitchen
I am going to try the regrow what you have eaten approach...some veg will regrow from leftovers... also going to plant the seeds from dates, apples, oranges, mango etc and see what comes of it all... and I will try the pineapple tree from the top of an off cut of one... xMake £/day March: £1490.85 / £310
