Card cut up months ago, I just need to wait for the money to actually credit the account (usually a day or so) and then will email them to say 'see ya!'

I'm sure I don't really need to say this to you, but I am fed up with reading on the credit file part here that someone has got a late payment marker because they didn't realise there would be some residual interest. So I am saying it anyway - please make sure before you decide to ignore this cc that there is no residual interest.

Have you ever read any of those threads? It is amazing how many people when they pay what they think is the last bill never check to may sure 'they(the supplier)' haven't c**ked up. Although mobile phones seem to be the major problems it does happen with ccs.

Totally chuffed for you by the way!

    Hi debtfreeoneday

I feel the same the same way about my mortgage and debt.

I know the better value snowball effect would be to pay off the car loan, then the 0% CC, then attack the mortgage. However I know I am about 9 months behind in my 10 year plan so I have to start somewhere.

Well done on the fab start to the year.

Thank you - I'm chuffed too, I always close the account, so I know it's clear! I only have one CC that is open with nothing on it that I've had for nearly 20 years!

Glad first day of work is over, I've a headache and a to-do list as long as my arm!

I'm so MSE at the moment, I've saved £2.16 on the BT bill this month and I've just calculated my 50/20/20/10 split on it!

Looks like I've sold another item for £22.50, but will wait until I have the cash in hand before including that this week.

Few watchers on my fleabay items, but nothing much really.

Still chuffed at paying off CC2 4 days into January, now just need to pay for the carpet and check I have the funds cleared to do so.

30p on 1poll and 50p on y0vgov tonight. All else is quiet, so going to crack on with some of my coursework as I have my final deadline for a course looming in March!
