Soo a big update as all monies are in and accounted for..

Mortgage paid and balance at £115,632.72 (31.8% paid off now). With the savings I've built up and the pay rise, I'm upping the overpayment by £20 to £60 per month as of next month! That's a saving of £3,045 in interest an takes 1 year, 2 months off the term. That's makes MF date as October 2027! 4 years to get rid off still!

Loan payment made, meaning the balance is now £1,294 and 97.78% paid off.. so close to hitting 98%.. hoping to pay off at least another £100 this month, but just need to hang fire and see how the months pans out.

Extra earnings - second part time role 'might' be coming good, I'm sure I'll get OP this month as I'm on £37.10. My t0pcash dispute has won me 30p from Mr T, but still want the £65 from the home insurance. Got £10 for Am@zon tonight from Ips0S.. and others building up nicely.

Feeling like progress has slowed massively, but adding to a lot of our pots this month and living with a more realistic budget means we can get a few bits done in the garden etc.

Just want to get to three figures!!!!!!!

Here's to a good debt busting May!

:j 98.4% paid off :j Balance is £1,144. Sooo chuffed with that as I know there is more to come this month, can only hope I 'might' hit three figures this month.

    Emergency fund up to £101.50.

and just one more for good measure!! :j

Unexpected £15 cheque this week from a school lottery thingy I joined last summer, totally forgot about it!! Once that's in the bank and cleared, that will go towards the debt as well, so about £130 to find to get to three figures..

I also have just over £100 in the house fund, which means we can do a bit more work on the kids area of the garden this month.. hopefully get the fence up and maybe the membrane and peashell stones for the base...

Feeling very excited and positive.. I'm actually going to clear £58,085.65 worth of debt.. I'm ever so nearly there..

I can't wait to see that £1144 down to £0.00!

Nice to win on the lottery! I play a charity lottery (most of the money goes to the charity so it's win-win) but no wins yet. It would be nice though...

I don't put enough time into the surveys really but they do creep up gradually and it's nice to get a payout.

Life never stays smooth for long does it? An electric bill arrives and after checking the actual meter, it's way out leaving us with an £800 bill. Easily sortable in that we are going onto a fixed direct debit to start paying off the amount owing, but gave me heart failure last night for a few minutes!

20p off payout with OP - really hoping to hit this today!
