  • I never thought about having two accounts to get double rewards, what an idiot I am!

Been very quiet this end as been poorly and generally busy with other stuff!

Think I'll will go to Halif@x as HSbeeC as part of FD which I've just given up with, so I'm loathe to give them my business again!

What's the mobile app for Halif@x like anyone?

  • Full of cold here so that explains why I've been feeling off lately and it's my looooooong day to work, so roll on 9pm.. plus that means I miss bake off!

97p cashed out from TCB for an Am@zon voucher. DH gets paid Friday so looking forward to shifting stuff around again and making some payments.. on the whole been a pretty bad month for spending stuff we don't have! Looking forward to being back in control again!

Few more surveys done, every so nearly there on 1poll, should get to payout next week hopefully, £1 away from payout with p-base and I think I've got another £3 coming from p-cone.

Just waiting till the end of the week and will put the bank account transfer in motion, would rather payday came and went before I move anything.

Hope you're feeling better soon, is it the curse of the autumn school return?

Yay for pay days and money shuffles and survey payouts :D
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • Sooooo payday is here and due to the *car bill that will not be mentioned* debt payments are down somewhat this month.. at the moment I have £204.32 to pay off CC1, leaving the balance at £4771.69. As always will give myself a target so I'd like to get to under £4700 this month with the aim of being at £3500 by end of the year, but that is a stretch if I'm honest.

Reached payout on Y0ugov, so need to wait for that £50 to come in and that isn't accounted for at the moment, also reached £11.40 payout on p-base (unaccounted for) and I'm sure I'll hit £40 payout on 1poll this week, so in theory that's another £100 unbudgeted extras to come in at some point this month. Reminds me why I spend time in the evenings doing surveys when I get £100 all at once.

We are moving to Halifax bank, so that will be another £125 to come in at some point. I also need to find another credit card as I'll ditch Santander card asap when the bank account is moved over. Really really disappointed in Santander to be honest, though I don't regret switching because at least I know it's really easy to do!

Washing is on the line and another load is in, hoping this week ends a better week at School for little man. Looking forward to a weekend of doing bits and bobs and getting out in the fresh air somewhere nice.

Three weeks into term and I'm still not in a routine, feel really out of sorts with everything!

  • The whole Santander thing just proves again that banks have no sense of morals, and should give us all more motivation for switching etc... Just like terrible re-quotes from insurance companies, they show no loyalty and don't deserve our business!

    Rant over...

    Enjoy the weekend!

  • oooh I do love a good SJ rant!!

Halifax application done, have to say that was so quick and easy, just waiting for the better half to be added and will start the switch application. Good thing was I got the account number there and then so have processed my YG payout to go into the new account.

Just spent £50 on wellies, winter coats, slippers and socks for the littlies but did have a 20% code.. and went through TCB as well. No surveys on 1poll today it's so quiet!

Someone picking up a bookface selling item later and I've a few more to chuck on over the weekend, thinking fleabay is a thing of the past for me really in terms of selling now.

  • Whaaaaaaat - I haven't seen that - if so that is not good! off to investigate!

Unless you are earning the max on interest - switch. TSB has just announced 5% on first £100 spent on contactless payments 'til Dec 2016 and pay 5% on max £2000 on account so I'm using that account for main shopping now.
