  • Eeek happy days.

The electric saga appears to be finally finally over so I’m updating two of my figures!

CLEAR CC advance for OP £187.83 / £914.17

    SAVE EF £80 / £1000

    ✔️Clear gift account £800 / £800

Focus now moves to clearing the mortgage OP credit card advance and adding to the emergency fund.

I’d rather not have had the stress and hassle in the first place but really happy it’s sorted and a nice little unexpected bonus for me today.

  • Did an online live survey last night which should net me £20 but I’ll believe it when it lands in my ipsos points balance.

    £5 requested from Vypr today.

Great news about the electricity saga.  I had a similar one when One Select closed and we were moved to Together Energy.  It was a nightmare to deal with but a nice little bonus when it finally resolved.

So much happening here debtfree. It's really exciting news about the house and what a bonus regarding the council tax. So relieved for you regarding the energy company too. They are not easy to deal with at the moment and I'm dreading April along with most other people.

I find water bills are a dark art. I'm on the "You've-asked-for-a-meter-but-we're-not-able-to-give-you-one" rate, which is supposedly discounted because of that, but I'm still paying c£28/month for one person in a one-bed flat. I have also yet to fathom why they can bill someone with a water meter over 12 months, yet someone on rates they can only bill over 10 months 🤷‍♀️?
