Had a lovely couple of hours cleaning up outside at the weekend. Shifted loads of leaves and now all bagged up ready to go to the waste collection.General pottering about yesterday and we lining papered a wall that needed doing. Bought some paint to paint said wall and carpet tiles to finish off the room. £65.1poll payment in yesterday of £25. Also £5.45 requested from prolific but that’s currently floating about yet to land in my PayPal.Both Ziffit payments confirmed and should hit the account today.Gift account up to £512.47 / £800. My Amazon vouchers are up to £104.03.Still chasing two refunds totalling £100 annoyingly. Have to say I won’t use this shop again. They’ve been so poor with communication and speed of delivery / refunds.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!2 -

Busy few days. Ziffit payment of £13 in. Shopmium cashback of £2.50. Ipsos payment of £5 Amazon voucher. Currently completing my monthly media surveys this week.On the flip side paid out house insurance for the year. Guiltily admitting I didn’t shop around. Premium increased by £1. But last years quote was cheapest by far so I’m happy to stick with them rather than spend ages getting quotes.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I did the same this year debtfreeoneday. I just didn't have time to shop around - as long as you have the cover you need and only £1 more doesn't seem bad to me. I shopped around for car insurance and managed to get a decent price, but my car is older now (like me) and so I'm not too worried if the excess increases. We buy insurance hoping we don't have to use it don't we - so its difficult to get into the frame of mind to envisage what you might need. I think next time I'll write myself a list of must haves and save it for use every year.
Good going on the payments in. I've stopped using Shopmium so much but ought to start again now that I'm doing a shop online."Think of many things, do one"

Likewise Sandy. I’d also stopped Shopmium but it’s been worthwhile the last few weeks. I also use checkout smart which is as good if not slightly better in terms of speed of payout etc.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Finally some progress on the energy complaint / Ombudsman.Well if you can call a half hearted letter of apology progress. ‘We are sorry if YOU feel…’. No ownership of their part played but they did give me £75 to say sorry. I now just have to get the starting meter rate changed which they have said they will do, but no date, just if the other company doesn’t do anything. The other company aren’t trading so why would they do anything?Anyway I’ll take a small win of £75 so I’ve taken £70 out of our energy pot as there is enough in there and given £50 to paying off the gift account and £20 towards the mortgage OP CC.£5 cashed in from Shoppix this morning.Having a very lazy weekend. Been a busy week and I’m really tired. Haven’t checked the forecast but plan to Potter inside and out and generally take it easy.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Morning, I hate how big companies never take ownership when they c*ck things up but at least you got £75 so thats a win.
Have a good weekend xx5 -
Good news on the £75!
I've just noticed that there's an option on Shopmium now to filter by store - that will make things a bit easier. I'll definitely have another look at them. Now that I have a delivery, my shopping time in-store is a bit less of a rush. Agree that checkoutsmart quick payment is much better too. Well done on Shoppix too.
Have a great weekend!
