Missing cashback resolved the same day - that's a massive win!!! Mine always take months, if not longer. I've just had one closed on me for approx £30, which they told me they would query in July 2019. I'm sure they've only decided they now can't help because they're fed up with me chasing them 🤦♀️!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!3 -
How frustrating SC. I think because it was their £2 bonus offer they were able to deal with it quicker I guess.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Productive week in terms of getting my to do lists done.
* write letters to close their CBS account and get them posted✔️
* return parcel to PO ✔️ Just need refund to hit now and I’m already chasing this retailer for a previous refund! 😬* NSD ✔️
* chase refund from FF if not in the bank today✔️ They have requested the refund again. Should be with me 3-5 working daysTodays list
*NSD
*take item of clothing back to see if I can get partial refund on it. No more in stock, DD loves it but there is a section where the stitching didn’t catch. It’s obvious it’s a sewing machine error so I’m hoping they will fling me £5 or something. I can try!
* chase WF for first refundDFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Just updated the mortgage figure. £52,172.91. I reckon it’ll be April before that goes under 50k mark. So ready for it to say 4… something.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

When I got to £50k I started mapping out how much interest I was saving over the lifetime of the mortgage, with each OP I made and also the aggregated total savings - I did not compound it, I took the new payment from the old and multiplied that difference across the number of months left - it was VERY addictive!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2226.88/£3000 or 74.23% of my annual spend so far

Up to £10 on prolific when they clear. £2.91 requested on TCB on the way to the bank and £5 on ipsos and well on the way to the next £5.So all in all, not a bad day to end the week.Mortgage payment recalculated due to the large OP and it’s down by some £14 a month. At the minute I’m only rounding up to the nearest £5 and the rest of the pennies are heading to the credit card to pay off the OP cash advance. Currently £63.95 / £914.17. Nearly all extra pennies are heading to the gift account to pay that off, that is currently £467.47 / £800DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

£7.74 in from prolific and gift balance updated with a little sent to OP CC.Snaffled a pinecone survey yesterday and two on YouGov as well.finally got the refund from FF. No luck with a partial refund for the damaged top. It was return it or stick with it and DD really wanted it so I fixed it up.
Need to sort through library books and take a load back today and pick up cat food. Really struggling to find it in tins with gravy!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

We’ll probably a waste of a Saturday. Did very little and had a late night which is unlike me.Lots of future related discussions going on here which were interesting. January should turn out to be an interesting month. I’ll share more when I can.Anyway back to Sunday. Plan is to move more, eat less and get into the garden / greenhouse and tidy them up a bit.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Hope you had a good weekend debtfree. Sometimes you just need a day doing nothing much. I pulled a few weeds up on Saturday but am avoiding most of the garden as its such a soggy mess. Still at least the nights are getting lighter (well a few seconds/minutes a day) and in about 8 weeks times Spring should be on the horizon."Think of many things, do one"
