So mid month time again where nothing much happens. We have put in for a refund of the year paid on the PPI results we had two years back. It won’t be much but every penny etc.House move all very quiet. I’m keeping my head down as I’m sure our buyers will be very pushy soon.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Had a lovely letter from the taxman advising DH has paid too much so requested that refund.
The house rollercoaster continues but I’ll say more when things are more certain. The housing market is certainly interesting at the moment and I guess people who were panicking to buy and getting swept up on the madness are now realising they’ve paid over the odds or aren’t prepared to do what is necessary to houses in terms of work needed.Money earned this month is £297.51 but that will go over £300 shortly as just waiting for some cashback to hit the bank account.Just finished a strange survey about alien invasion and what would be the key items id take with me in case aliens landed. I decided on teabags and my phone.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Soooo all change again. The sale on a house we got outbid on fell through and cut a long story short, we got it! Fingers crossed it all goes to plan now. Frustrating considering we are well into the timescale of the house we were purchasing but too good an opportunity to miss.In terms of MSE, it’s totally not a short term good decision. Lots of work needed. Absolutely at the max of our budget and dipping into savings a lot. But the potential is huge. Location is perfect and long term we should make a decent return.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

What a washout today. Was hoping to get into the garden to do some dead heading but it’s chucked it down all day. Feels proper cold and dreary out there.Committed the cardinal sun of just renewing our car insurance with same provider but it had increased by £3 and I spent ages last year trying to improve on the quote and couldn’t. All a bit last minute but I just didn’t have the mental strength to do quote after quote.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
