Great work on the surveys

Mr T been and we returned an item, so £2.15 extra off CC1, total adjusted. Also spent £5 less, so put that aside for extra that we might need at Christmas, given we have guests for a week!
Relieved the wall off some tiles, next job is to start to prepare the wall for painting. next big purchase will be an oven over Christmas.. DH has picked the one he wants, I just need to find it as cheap as possible now.
School books done, second load of washing in the drier. Garden tidied and DH is laying a few more slabs in the front garden.
Productive Sunday so far!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

urgh - Monday.. not looking forward to this week at all, work is not a happy place for me right now.
Got all the littlies birthday and Christmas presents out last night, sorted them into birthday and Christmas piles and the all important Father Christmas pile. DH is impressed at how little we've spent.
Wrapped up all their Christmas Day pressies and will attempt to do their birthday pressies this week.
Need to see if I can get a meeting with the School today, I fear we may be starting down the same track as with the previous School, though I'm really hoping not.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I keep nearly getting drawn in by the sales but like you I have bought everything. I think a lot of people end up buying stuff they don't need because it's cheap!
All of DD's gifts wrapped here and I've wrapped her Playmobil advent!
I haven't really thought of plans for 2017. I think I'm just focussing on getting through 17 days of school holidays with no doubt bad weather and no car! The plan is to make a lump sum overpayment of the full 10% at the start of the year, but I find not overpaying a bit weird. I guess just save as much as possible, so the same in 2018, then when the 2 year fix ends hopefully make another big overpayment. Not as fun as small ones though...Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%
Overpayments - £48829.37 :j:j:j

Thank goodness for Friday and for payday. DH pay is back to usual level, but I've divvied everything up and sent £200 to CC1 - I have some to send to CC2, but just waiting for my wages to hit the account so we don't go overdrawn when the mortgage comes out.
Power company final bill generated and we are £417 in credit, surprised as that is more than I thought.. proving difficult to get the money back from them though. Will up the DD on the electric for a bill and build a surplus back up, but will either buy DD her new bed with the rest or chuck it at a CC. Maybe split it between CC and the bed fund.
School continues to be a testing experience. DS's behaviour hasn't improved with the change of School, but I do think they manage him better. I worry they will do it long term though, I've two other avenues to follow up at the moment, one is for a grant for a behaviour assessment and the other is a charity that supports situations such as ours.
Still waiting for the report from the private clinic we took him to which has been 'in the post' for a week now. I'll be grumbling at them if we don't get it today.
Long term I still feel I need to plan financially for me not working and doing home education.
Looking forward to a quiet day at home as we have such a busy weekend.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Truly dreadful day - all DS related. Report arrived and is agreeing that we need a full assessment for £1500! However picked him up from School and his teacher said some really hurtful comments about him and the situation - so we need to go in for a meeting with the Head next week.
What it did do was prompt a serious conversation about home ed and finances with DH which he is now much more on board with, the finances would be truly appalling, but he can see we cannot continue like this. I've been awake in the night getting upset at the monster my son is being portrayed as.
On a more positive note, off to a pottery class with them today and then meeting a Mum from their School at soft play, not met her before, but she asked to meet and then it's fireworks and Christmas light turn on locally. busy busy Saturday,DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
