  • I am absolutely worn out today.. thankful of a day off

Planning a nice weekend with lots of family time as the littlies have been so good this week and with the whole school move.

Not very MSE, but hey ho - sometimes I don't mind.

  • Mortgage figure updated, we won't get under £100,000 this side of 2017, but it will be close and I've every intention of starting the OP's as soon as the debt is gone. Loving watching the figures tick closer and closer to being under £100,000 though!

Down to 2 CC's, one has £1100 on it, but £200 due to be credited on there next week. and the other is down to £675 - that's the one I'm now concentrating on. It'll probably November before it's clear with me just staying on top of the larger one.

    The end is in sight.

There is £190 (hopefully on the way) for recycling my own phone which will go off the CC as well.

Just need to kick the backside of this debt now because we will be debt free around the beginning of January and then it's all at the mortgage.

  • Can't believe a week has gone by.. so quick update.

Spent rather new much on new uniform but all seems well at school so it's worth it.

Got £190 back for my old phone which will pay for DH's new one to be ordered and then what we get for his should mean we break even with just a slight increase in monthly contract cost, but I'm fine with that.

    One week to half term..

  • £1 YG surveys this morning and £2 on p-base, did another one yesterday that's been sent off for quality control, so that will be interesting.. I know why as well as I just kept selecting not relevant as I didn't have the service they were surveying about - but give you no option to say I DON'T HAVE IT!!

    Breathe..

If that one comes back Ok, I've reached payout on there. YG up to about £24 and 1poll on £27.

Off out today before the rain is due this afternoon..

For now, I'm sneaking an extra hour in bed..

but give you no option to say I DON'T HAVE IT!!

I hate when surveys do that - see it all the time with all sorts of questions....ages of the children you (don't) have, cost of the tv service you (don't) pay for, etc. You'd think they'd want to screen you out early if you clearly don't meet the demographics they want rather than have you keep clicking through.
  • Hi Dfod,
Just finished your diary (been reading through over the last week or so)
I've enjoyed hearing about the journey and will subscribe.
Hope the little ones (human and animal) are well and that you have a lovely weekend x
