Will be thinking of the little ones at their new school tomorrow. Im glad DD is happy that she knows some of the girls. In my experience of kids moving into our school they are usually ok and its the parents crying at the school gate!!! Let us know how they get on xxMummytogirls x0

You are right MTG, it was me sobbing as I drove away... anyway DD seemed a bit subdued at the end of the day but DS loved it and to be honest, it's him that needs to be happy. DD will be fine. Lots of treats for them this week..
Enough said about the old school the better really, given their reaction yesterday to us leaving.. he has something that they gave him that he uses everyday and we asked if we could borrow or buy it to ease his transition, they wouldn't even consider it... so it will go back to hanging in an office where it had been for years before he used it.. thankfully I found one online after hours of searching so hoping he accepts that one!
Need to buy uniform today for them.. awake at 2.30 as i can't sleep. Caught up on surveys.. £24 ish on 1poll and £20 on youg0v
Used checkoutsmart at the weekend for the first time on some items that I usually buy and got £2 back.. worthwhile a look for easy money!

We've used it for a while, though generally the items on there either aren't things we buy or aren't in the stores to buy. You can scan any supermarket receipt for a 1p credit, though (and entry into a prize draw, I think?). Payout threshold is £20 if you don't want to pay 5% fee to get money out.0 -
I'm so happy that DS is enjoying his new school and I'm sure DD will get used to it too. I always feel really anxious for the first few weeks when I do something new. How ridiculous of the old school not to at least sell you the transitional item.
Hope you get some sleep soon! Last night was amazing for me as it's the first time in about 10 months that DD has been asleep at 7am!!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

All going well it seems, new school is sooo different in terms of teacher approach.. culture of our schools really differs!
