  • So bit disappointed at the tillly tidy being only 52p this morning after a payment went out of the bank account.

25p on youg0v this morning, up to £22 on there
    1poll is at £27.60
75 points on ips0s meaning I'm at 1263 - sooo close to payout
pr0filic at £17.14 with £5.30 to clear - hurry up so I can claim please!
    p-base looking pathetic at 40p!

I also joined a product testing site recently, nothing to report as of yet, but will keep you up to date.

So car is ready, not sure we will pick it up today, leave it another day before the CC gets bashed. I do have the money to clear it, but that's all the debt repayment money gone for this month then. Apparently the garage have washed the car for me - I should bl00dy hope so! Need to get 2 new tires as well next month - never ending with cars isn't it at times!

Lazy morning, doing reading books and craft and then off to meet friends at a NT place for a few hours and then off to karate - trialling an extra night as it costs no more and both seem to be really enjoying it.

Initial assessment went Ok for DS, get a report in 2 weeks - got home as well to his report from his previous assessment which made for some difficult reading, but will be interesting to see how the School plan to implement the recommendations.

    How is it Thursday already??!!!

    have a good day all!

Ouch at the as bill but at least you have the cash for it and don't need to rely on the cc.

You are lucky with all those NT properties. We have two within 10-15 minutes and another 2 or 3 an hour away.

  • Just updated the mortgage figure to £102,740 - soooo close to those magic double digits, but it won't be this year.. Hoping to get as close to £101000 as possible.. OP start again in earnest next year if I ever get rid of these blooming CC's!

  • Why don't you tilly tidy your mortgage? ;)
    Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 2022
  • Why don't you tilly tidy your mortgage? ;)

I was until earlier this year and then I decided I just wanted gone with the CC's, One has gone, one is down to £600 and then the other is about £1000.. so I'm OP-ing everything to the £600 one and once that is gone, the other will be the focus - then it will be back to the mortgage..

The CC are interest free at the mo, but won't be soon so I need them gone..

    Does that make sense?

  • No movement in the bank account overnight, so i sent £5 OP to the CC anyway to round it down to the next £5.

Hiding in bed supposed to be doing the food shop, but instead I'm on here!

Car is ready for collection, but leaving it till tomorrow so I can delay putting the money on the CC as I'll transfer the money to clear it, but my wages don't go in till Monday and it will leave us with £20 in the account over the weekend.

Few surveys last night so up to £28 on 1poll, up to £19.64 cleared on Pr0lific now - so close to hitting pay me money and just completed another £1 survey on there! Still waiting for TCB to move the £3.03 to payable.

Ruddy cars - they're money pits aren't they but living rurally you've got no choice really. I (stupidly?) assumed that maintaining a nearly new car would be cheaper but I guess newer means more fancy gadgets that can fail.

It must be hard reading the assessments for DS. :-( We're aware that our DD is highly likely to have a number of syndromes and disorders but whilst she is coping okay we'd rather not put her through them. Whenever it gets bad I think "We have to do this" and then somehow she comes through it and starts coping again.

I seem to recall reading that the earlier you diagnose ASD the better the outcome so although it may mean more debt, it will be worth it in the long run.

Hope the kids are looking forward to going back to their new school! DD was off sick for much of the last week so is probably dying to go back. This is the first holiday that I have had a "lie-in" so I'm dreading the early starts!

  • If only I could have lie ins Amy!!! I've read a lot about not diagnosing, and I don't feel we will actually talk to DS about it if we do get a diagnosis - my main driver is that he isn't viewed as a naughty boy and that if he needs support, he gets it.

He's been dreadful for the past three days and was totally wired tonight at karate - that I nearly pulled him out of the class. It's hard isn't it.

  • Lovely day with the littlies despite DS being 'bouncy' - 50 points on Ipsos, only one more survey needed for payout on that.

    Up to £28.15 on 1poll.

Also did a Tesc0 home panels survey tonight - few and far between.. 9 points on there and I need 50 for payout!!
