Have tried a few times for p*cone, one day I will be successful!

We pay direct debit for NT now, we don't use it as much as we used to but it means days out are much easier as we have two nearby properties that the children enjoy going to.

  • Washing on, hoping to get it dry today.

Did an order at Mr T last night for last bits of uniform, pumps, trainers, also got DH's present from Father Christmas as he has wanted the same thing all year (hope he doesn't change his mind now), plus picked up various tops for them, used £14 Ccard vouchers and they had £10 off £75, so got the whole lot for £52.

Also did a H&M order for £70 ish - but that should be the kids kitted out for autumn and winter now.

Need to go to argus today, but not much else planned, Need to be around for the postie as missed a signed for parcel last week which I need asap as it's for work.

    Happy monday all!

How do you find the sizing for children in h&m? Dd needs a wardrobe overhaul and an online shop would be sooo much easier.

  • I find it pretty much true to size. I've got trousers for DS from there for 4 years now, same style - different colours and they do him until he grows out of them and at £6 I can't complain. I'd say if they are inbetween, then size up.

  • Another vote here for H&M, love there clothes for kids, although DD is now in women sizes, I have bought from them for years and never had any problems.
  • H+M kids, amazing when my girls were small. I'd go to town spring and autumn, so twice a year, spend just over £100 for then both to have new wardrobes of clothes

Loving the party on budget, sounds like my kind of fun ;) says she that has a spreadsheet going back to 2010 detailing birthday and Christmas gifts to everyone - a) to avoid duplicates and b) so I can buy ahead and not forget who I have bought what for :o

Can I ask you a question about pr0lif1c - I signed up recently and earned 50p straight away but nothing since, except one I wasn't eligible for. You seem to get good amounts from them do you find it picks up once you've done a few? Tia.
  • Purple fairy, I found the trick with these was to keep refreshing the screen and they would pop up, I stay logged in, so the tab is always open on my browser along with numerous others. I probably click on it 4/5 times a day and refresh and that's when they pop up - by the time I've had an email and clicked on it, they've usually closed.
