It's Friday, thank goodness. £3 weekly OP being sent to the mortgage today.. in fact, I'm upping that to £3.02 so the OP amount is a nice round number!!

So thankful it's half term, loads of work to do over the half term, but at least there is no alarm clock. Going to write a list in a bit of things I'l like to do this week. very much going with the flow (and the weather!)

I've just worked the budget out based on last months wages and I'm pleased to advise that absolutely nothing is going off CC5 on payday, it is all needed elsewhere. bad DFOD..

That said, DH's credit card is paid and cut up! All pots are back into credit and anything I manage to make on surveys or fleabay will go off CC5 so the target still remains to get the flipping thing under £999 this month. it's going to be hard, birthdays and fathers day will not help.

    Roll on June payday!

I know it might not seem it when you are having a tough month but you are making real progress. You know your exact financial position and are able to make sensible choices on how to manage things. Would you have been able to say that in the past?

    Hi DFOD,

I know exactly how you feel - I always want progress quickly but slow and steady works too - just not as satisfying.

I have been really down about our saving achievements but it has given me a kick up the bum now....

You're right orange fairy, I know that. Going to jiggle with the utilities pot this morning as the water tank bill obviously has been missed again.. £280 up to us, I think I have about £60 left.

    Sat Survey round up:

    pbase - £6.60
    Ips0s - 173 (£10 am@zon voucher taken this week)
    y0ug0v - £47.50 (So close)
    pr0lific £3.25
    1poll - £8.90
    m1ntv1ne 230
    p1nec0ne £1 (£3 drawn this week)
    cr0wd0l0gy £4.96
    m1ndm0ver £10.40

Busy week on 1poll, pbase I'm still getting screened out of so many surveys at the mo. frustrating!

So jiggled with the utilities account and will spend the £60 that I'd still I'd still got from the 'bill that never came' £40 towards fathers day and birthdays and £15 off CC5 and £5 towards next week's mortgage OP. Feel better now I've paid something off CC5.

Did a plan for half term week yesterday, determined to squeeze so much out of this week and fully expect to be knackered!

So, (to please MTG and all you others who delight in my washing updates) - washing in on and will be on the line before we go. The promised hotter than hell weekend doesn't look like it's going to reach the depths of Cornwall!

Off to a NT place today (4 days left of membership! - sob) - plan is a 3.5 mile walk and then a visit to the property and grounds if we have any energy left.

Need to do Mr T order as well and that is Saturday my friends!

    have a good one al!

You are putting a lot of energy into the surveys...I only currently do p@nelbase which isn't great - I could do with getting on p1nec0ne again!

We have lovely sun this morning in North Devon and then a massive rain fall - hoping it's nicer tomorrow!

We did get caught in the rain OF on the way home - my washing sadly wet!

Quiet day at home yesterday as the littlies were worn out from a epic walk Saturday. Hasn't stopped the 4.30am starts this holiday though.

Off to another NT place today - some activities on for the littlies and weather is looking beautiful.

Feeling a bit miserable of late about my lack of action on the weight loss front, I might get a bit more vocal about it in here as there isn't many places / people I talk to about it. Attempt no 16598 to get going on a plan today.. as least I don't give up starting... I feel it much more in the summer..

On a MSE front, I have tons of smaller clothes if I could only lose some weight and loads of large clothes I could sell if I did lose it..

Anyway sees me talking about a takeaway in here, feel free to kick me up my behind.

Rather disappointed, I've not washing to go on given that it's such a beautiful day.

Bank accounts all quiet as it's bank holiday.. be pleased to see my wages go in tomorrow.

    Have a great day all..
