    Lisbon or Berlin.

    I'd agree with Berlin.

    it's a fascinating City.

Plenty of things to see and do.

In the middle of the City is the Brandenburg Tor, with the Reichstag and the Russian Embassy just a five minute walk away.

Make sure to visit a section of the wall, and have your photo taken at Checkpoint Charlie, on Friedrikstraße.

Not far outside the City, there's Glienicke Bridge (aka the Bridge of Spies), the Luftwaffe Museum, and the Möhne Dam.

You could stay in the TRYP by Wyndham hotel, on Ruschestraße, which used to be a "Honey Trap" hotel, run by the Stasi.
  • Copenhagen sounds fab, and while it's expensive, it's not as expensive as Norway. Have a great time. I love European city breaks.
  • You will enjoy Copenhagen, cheaper than say, Stockholm :)

Also booked for Copenhagen in April, made a major mistake of booking easter weekend then finding out from the danish tourist board that all shops and most museums and restaurants shut for 4 days! Paid as much again to change flights but it is somewhere we have wanted to go for a long time. We have train trips planned to Roskilde and Malmo.
