Happy St George's day, think of the following quote "We’re not genetically programmed in Scotland to make political decisions".if that said England-would you vote for the party that said it?
No, the referendum was on the AV (Alternative Vote) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-11243595 not PR. It was a fudge (surprise, surprise) that pleased neither side and only about 32% voted in favour. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

We had an AV referendum to appease Clegg, and one of his promises to the coalition was that if we had this referendum he would allow the boundaries of the electoral areas to be redrawn in a fairer manner (each containing equal numbers of people). Of course he reneged on this because he may have ended up with zero seats as a consequence. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

No Nicola, he wants to reduce Scottish influence over England, not over the UK. Why should Scottish MPs have a say on Income Tax in England if English MPs no longer will have a say on Income Tax in Scotland?illegitimi non carborundum0

Why not? This is a good thing.
The Welsh have their own administration; as do the Scots.
People have moaned for years about Politicians not looking after their local needs. Here is a chance to ensure that each region is able to focus on their own needs.0 -

Methinks Cameron is doing more to destroy the United Kingdom than Nicola Sturgeon and Alex Salmond combined.
what for I ask? To keep himself (Cameron) in at job. If so, what a price to pay.

How can Cameron doing MORE than Nicola and Alex as they specifically want Scotland to leave: no ifs, no buts, no compromises but leave.
You may, of course be implying that the Scots reaction to fairness in voting and grant distribution across all the people of the UK, will make them more likely to vote for independence.
If that be so, then the soon they leave the better.0 -
