17,000 majority to overturn mind you:eek:
Have to admit i Love watching Jackie get her backside kicked on FMQ ... she really is totally useless ... I'm hoping her days in Hr are numbered, I'm also hoping she is from a time when people in Scotland would have voted for a dog in a Labour suit and not reflective of what the electorate is like now ...
Gemma Doyle is another useless person, much the same as Jackie Baille really0 -

As far as I recall special dispensation was necessary from UuK Government for the SNP to hold a just the single Referendum last time, so that a second legal Referendum would not be posible without agreement with the UK Government again - see also here in section "Legality of a referendum".
Any illegal Referendum would have dangerous consequences for Scotland, as would some form of UDI. The UK Government would declare it illegal and very probably Scotland would head for some form of Civil disturbance if not Civil War. Scotland would loose any rights to UK assets, slim as they are now.
It would be a real mess if due Democratic process was not honoured. Surely the SNP are not that crazy!Union, not Disunion

I think you will find that if the people of Scotland want to be independent and are denied another referendum then that would be to the detriment of the rest of the UK0
