Do I detect a freudian slip?
Why wasn't the graffiti on the Yes door reported in the Telegraph too ? ( if it likes reporting on graffiti on doors so much ? ).
Do I detect a biased agenda and a newspaper that's now regarded as a comic in Scotland ? Anyway, I see we're now at the 'vile snp supporters' phase of the #snpout indyref2.. cunningly disguised as a general election to Westminster. Murphy must be due an egging soon, and another bank reporting a 'depression'... Has Standard Life threatened to leave yet ?It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
So is the stuff in the Torygraph all made up? It's certainly reported as fact rather than opinion.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
An ex SNP candidate actually came out and claimed the cybernats were all MI5 agents hired to make the nationalists look bad.
This is their latest strategy.
Spread disinformation and lies to try and blame all the misdeeds of their followers on the opposition.
It's exactly the shameless tactics used by many previous authoritarian nationalist regimes.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Come on Agent Shakey of MI5, we're on to you now.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

SNP supporters do seem to share some very worrying traits with Nationalists in other parts of the world.
Wanting to abolish the checks on executive power. Stripping property rights from people. Wanting control over the output of state media. Abusing and silencing opponents through bullying.
It's pretty horrible stuff.0 -

Do you ever ask why vandalism to one door is reported, yet racist tweets about prominent MSP's and 'hang Nicola' one's aren't ? Then ask yourself why you think the SNP are about politics of 'hatred and division' ? And find yourself posting complete nonsense about 'people getting hurt' ?
You never hear or read otherwise. Suckered in big style and just the reaction the newspaper ( and Hamish incidentally) wants. Sold !
Please, spare us. Political/economic disagreements and debate are fine... but when we start venturing into this sort of uninformed drivel ? Based on stories from the Telegraph/#SNPout and 'unitedagainstseperation'... You're in la-la land. And one most Scots don't recognise in the slightest. The odd nutter/tweet or incident cuts BOTH ways, always has done. But, is rare and not the 'norm'.
Suits some to present it all one way however. Still..If it suits you to believe it all, and dismiss tweets like above re Humza or admire Hamish with his rolling smiley's and tactical voting wheel's thinking and actually voting like it's indyref 2 all over again. Feel free.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

I have no doubt that both sides are pretty nasty to each other on Twitter. Obviously the Internet was invented so that stupid, ill-informed people can throw insults at each other.
The policies I list are pretty concerning though. Those aren't from some nutter writing in the Torygraph, they all come directly from the SNP leadership.0 -

Charming people.. and very active, leafleting and such.
Except, as it turns out, and as even WINGS has just tweeted, this had nothing to do with SNP-OUT...“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

The Cybernats however are in fine form this evening....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Bad enough when it's from Joe public, but from an MP it's a disgrace.
But Pete Wishart is an MP and at Christmas tweeted
'Merry Christmas to all Yessers and Nawbags alike. We are one Scotland etc.'
Pretty typical from him mind you.
There has been several missteps from SNP councillors as well. Makes me wonder what type of people we have running our councils and how they operate and regard the people they represent. On both sides of the equation.0 -

The SNP have always played the long game. '.
The 'long game' is a tactic used by SNP to claim anything which turns out in their favour even via serendipity was part of their planned 'long game'. Salmond has used this tactic to his great political advantage over the years. Great ruse until your political opponents get wise to it which they have.0
