do you have a clear quote from nicola that she would support increase in taxes to pay for increases in benefits
is there a clear poll where the people of Scotland have said they support increased taxes to pay for increased benefits
we do have clear evidence that Scottish Labour politicians have bragged that the much of Labours' mansion tax will flow into Scottish coffers and we do know that the SNP and willing to back Labour.
I would imagine it would be ooooo say 9.92% of the mansion tax that would make it back to Scotland, you know the whole barnett formula thing again... but here show me your evidence that the Scottish electorate do assume ?0 -

I understand why he's doing it and sticking to the 'story' but it's not going to help Labour in the long run after May 7th if there is a hung parliament. The below article explains things beautifully re what the press will do if he does keep trotting that line out.

was discussing this today with someone, we both kinda thought that it wouldve been better if Sturgeon straight away pointed out his lies, and every time he lied since, that way the people will know he is lying.
She also needs to sort this referendum situation, she needs to make it 100% clear that there may be a referendum if the people choose it ( ok we know that isnt exactly true ) and give examples ... none of the messing about like last night... and for goodness sake she needs to sort out the whole police education issue although i hope it doesnt dwell on devolved matters tonight it needs to get sorted, if it does hit devolved powers she needs to up her game
and Murphy just needs to carry on lying and smarming and he may win0 -

I've just discovered this as well. Had no idea it wouldn't actually be 'live'..It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

thats quite a risky strategy tbh, the BBC cant be blind to how much the people have lost trust in them, they should keep it live, they have James Cook chairing so he would keep it fair so shouldnt really have anything to hide0 -
KICK OFF TIME lets see how it goes tonight...0

It seemed so good to begin with ... then it went rapidly downhill0

Well Sturgeon got another kicking.
Seems neither the audience nor the other politicians felt like being fooled by her lies and obfuscations tonight.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I wouldnt say she got a kicking tbh ... but what i do believe is that people will be watching that and noticing two nights in a row she was effectively bullied, now that wouldnt have been noticed if say the second one was in two weeks time, but two nights in a row it was very obvious
One thing I know about the Scot's is ... They hate bullies , so she may have in fact done better than first thought.
Murphy was far far too shouty tonight, Ruth was terrible ( and I actually quite like her as well ... well I did till tonight... time will tell) Coburn was there for laughter I reckon, an antagonist that didnt have a clue ( and it showed) Patrick was actually quite good Rennie ... still surplus to requirements really
now I dont think Nicola won any of them ... I think she did better than last night ... but I actually think Nicola won overall ... and i'm ok with that
I think she may be battered bleeding and bruised but at the end of the two fights she is still standing and that is the sign of a leader ... kinda glad now it was two nights in a row ... I wasnt earlier on tbh0 -
