That reminds me - I forgot to ask:

Why do you write that, specifically what is the rationale?

Because every conceivable outcome is good for the SNP according to STD.

well, I understand we wouldn't have much to talk about

as I'ld be interested in things like what actually are the SNP plans
    for
    -making a 'fairer' society
-what tax change would they make to help create a fairer society
-how would they make a more equal society
-how would they make a more progressive society
-how much more do they wish to borrow
-why does the SNP give massive handouts to rich people sending their children to uni and why they give massive handouts to Uni graduate who become very financially successful, all paid for my people who never went to Uni or those that did but have low earnings

and lots of other boring things

Which is the bad one then ? Labour majority probably the worst outcome for the SNP.. but the SNP themselves look to be making that quite difficult, but not impossible.

Tory maj/led govt = good news
    Tory/Labour = excellent news !
    Labour/SNP deal = we'll take it.

You think I tell you this just to get you hot and bothered ? It's just the way things are, am sorry you don't like hearing it. Or you like to think that I'm absolutely dying with glee at the thought of the SNP in Westminster. But am not. That's the one option I'm not personally sure of at all !

The Tories have a problem because they have little choice in who they can do deals with in order to take them back into power. Lib Dem voter collapse, and the rise of UKIP not quite as predicted has narrowed their options significantly. In other words, those polls for them and/or Lib Dems/UKIP need to start climbing, and fast over the next few weeks ( which to be fair to the Tories, do look to be creeping up ). However, even last time around with no SNP on the scene and Labour in dire straits they didn't quite manage it then either.

SNP taking seats from Labour is not good for Labour, but, is essentially just replacing one for another but still adding up the total to make a majority more likely. Lib Dems could also be persuaded if Clegg goes. Scottish Labour definitely do not like it, and want a deal ruled out asap.. but then, if lots of them are gone in May, who needs to worry about them anymore ? Milliband won't be.

Or, as you say, all those polls could be wrong too. That's emminently possible too. But the ramping up last few days of hysterical newspaper smears, and the encouragement of tactical (anti-SNP ) voting north of the border.. indicates that something is seriously frightening the Tory horses. Five years out of power mainly I should think...
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

It tells me that you are incapable of any coherent thinking when the SNP is involved.

I am the same with Tottenham so I refrain from betting on them.

How profound of you. Still smarting from getting the the polls and hung parliament thing so wrong eh ? :(

You can check and treble check anything I post. I think you'll find what I post is always sourced and backed up ( even if you don't agree with it )..or if wrong I'll admit it. Same can't be said for others sadly. And once again, when it starts getting into personal insults ( lack of coherence this time ), it starts getting very boring.

So any government with the Tories in would be better than one with the SNP involved? Best to keep that theory under your hat when canvassing for SNP votes - some lesser mortals will think you've lost your marbles rather than engaging in very high level long term strategic thinking.

It can be hard to tell the difference between the two with extremists.

And some would say that you aren't able to read properly when I said 'That's the one option I'm not personally sure of at all !' . I'm sure the SNP will do just fine in Westminster.. after all, Alex Salmond is an old veteran there isn't he, and with Milliband in his pocket it seems ! ( Trademark :- Tory posters ).

But really bad outcomes for the SNP in this election ? I can't really see any ( based on current polling, things may change ). Strategically, they've played things very well. And if facts bother you on a discussion board, you're in the wrong place I'm afraid.

Ps Don't make assumptions that am out canvassing etc. You know nothing about me.
