All I've said is that Tilt told an anecdote to support his argument, without possibly knowing that his conclusion (officer laziness/lack of interest) was a valid one.
Of course I see officers who could do more. Each office has its office cat. It's the same in every profession. But very high percentage!?? If by that you mean 5 to 10% I'll go with that.
In the recent tranche of staff cuts, wage cuts and salary erosion, I'm surprised, from my own experience, that the morale is not at gutter level. Perhaps the largely rural nature of our force means that an organised voice of dissent is not so apparent as in the metropolitan forces.Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.0 -
