Possible to get £40 Quidco on top of £100 bonus on Halifax Reward Current Account?

Hi all. I've searched to see if anyone's posted about this in recent-ish times, but if they have I couldn't find it. I noticed that Quidco's offering £40 for switching to the Halifax Reward Current Account. It does mention the £100 switching bonus in the terms, but not in a way that makes anything very clear.

Has anyone successfully gotten both the £100 switching bonus and the £40 Quidco, or is it one or the other?

I would say yes as it's mentioned you'd get both in the terms and conditions:

Switch to the Halifax Reward Current Account and in your first year you could earn up to £200 made up of:
    - £100 from the Halifax and £40 with Quidco if you switch using the Current Account Switch Service to transfer and close your old account. Offer excludes anyone who's had £100 for switching to Halifax since January 2012.

I'd be expecting to receive both amounts, having read the info on the Quidco site.
  • I literally just signed up for the Haifax Rewards Account before seeing this thread. :(

You'll need to be quick though?...unless you've already applied before posting back?
  • Yes I did this and it has tracked.

Think it said it runs till 17th jan?

I've checked the terms and conditions again and it says the £40 Quidco is for applications "received" by January 17th, so I'm hoping that means as long as you apply by that time, the cashback will track.

Don't hope, check (in your Quidco activity list) and make sure instead. If it doesn't show in the activity list when it should, raise a cashback claim.

Yes, good reminder - I didn't mention it in my post, but I did check and it's not tracked yet. It's still within 24 hours for me, though, so if nothing tomorrow I'll raise a claim.

I have had quite a few Quidco no-tracks over the years even though I always clean my cookies before I go through a purchase. Just had another 'untracked' at the weekend for a £60 John Lewis buildings and contents insurance.

The Quidco claims procedure successfully deals with 99.9% of the untracked transactions, but obviously only if you claim in the first place. I would stay on the case for £40 (and certainly am chasing my £60 from John Lewis).
