house not selling what can we do?

It looks lovely inside and I am guessing quite new, but if it were me (and this is JMO,) I would be put off with it being mid terrace. No matter how cheap a house is, I would never buy mid terrace.
Maybe that is putting a lot off? If people have a choice between mid and end terrace, I would imagine most would choose end terrace. Also, the stairs in the lounge is offputting to me, and also the lack of front garden and lack of privacy, and how cramped it looks at the front. (outside.) EG; next door's car pulling up right in front of my lounge window!Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!

Looks a reasonable house to me. The one thing I noticed was that I couldn't figure out a way to stop the photos flashing onto the next one and study each picture in detail.
I was trying to "fix" the photo on the one showing front of the house and then "blow the photo up" in size in order to be able to try and figure out likelihood of parking aggro between your house and the next door one (because I cant see a distinct clear boundary that indicates "This is part of my property and now that is part of your property").
EDIT; Just read the other posts and I don't see the point of removing reference to S106 or Lpg gas. Lots of people (me for instance) would reject the house the second we saw either of those comments come up about a house, but those facts wont vanish just because they aren't mentioned. People would find out anyway and the only difference it would make is they had wasted your (and their) time after viewing, rather than before. Either way = the house would get rejected.0 -

Computer lesson: Right click, view image....:D0 -
Thanks Dave.
Errrrm...just tried that and it didn't work for me. Up came a list of things to select and I've not done owt like that before, so bit nervous of mucking things up. But "view image" wasn't down on this list anyway.
Suspect a noticeable number of people might have same problem and just think "blow it....next....." (or is that "Don't like...then instant vote with feet" Home Area mentality showing? LOL).0 -

I would reject a house with LPG too and I'd rather know sooner than later. The section 106 is probably to do with affordable housing and having local connections....which would eliminate me even if I was interested.
I agree it's pointless trying to hide those facts. I'd go as far as to say if the section 106 is related to local connections then the details should say that.0 -
Surely the 'Section 106' clause is going to be a problem, limiting the number of potential buyers?
Isn't it an 'affordable housing' caveat meaning that certain criteria have to be met for any potential buyers? (young, local, FTBers)?0 -

Work surfaces look a bit tight in the kitchen., dark units are not to everyone's taste, rooms very small. Parking looks an issue.
If you really want to move accept a lower offer.
It's a lovely house, just very small.

I also suspect the s106 is an issue. Was the house that sold for £115k subject to a s106? If not, and it was otherwise a very similar house, then it would appear the s106 reduces the value by £15k - which wouldn't be too much of a surprise, depending on the terms of the s106.
I wouldn't remove it from the listing, but I would add some details so people know what the restrictions actually are.0 -
The LPG and 106 would also put me off as would the stairs in the living room, a lack of dining room and no front garden.
Your house is very nicely presented so you don't need to change anythibg like that.
New houses have a premium so many people buying a so called second hand one will likely pay less than the original purchase price. If your home was suitable for me I would buy the cheaper brand new house which comes with a guarantee and wont need any work at all before I move in.0 -
I agree with the others about needing some kind of explanation about the section 106 - just saying it has one but not what a section 106 is will put a lot of people off as your typic first time buyer is not going to go and google it unless they fall in love with the pictures. They just need to put that the property is subject to a section 106 agreement which means that ....
I would also change the front picture as the angle of it makes the house look very small in comparison to next door (I know it is smaller but if you take the picture from the front rather than at an angle it may look less dwarfed by it?)I am a Mortgage Adviser
