    What car is this????????

Outlander PHEV and unless it's plugged in, the pre-heating will eat into it's range.

What a good job it's got that fossil-fuelled engine to help drag its bulk along when the electrons run out, eh ;)

My missus is 22 and drives a Jazz.

What won her over was reliability, low insurance cost, space for 4 adults when she goes out with friends, magic seats for if ever she needs them, and the large boot that will be useful when babywba is born in April!

Fold flat seats are handy, too...mine used to be great for chucking the bike in...

Honda Jazz is the Pete's pockets of the car world ... it's amazing what you can fit in there.

We went on holiday and took 4 people plus cases to the airport - all the cases went in the Jazz boot. When we got to Menorca and picked up the hire car (Renault Laguna), one of the cases had to go on the rear seat with the passengers - it wouldn't fit in the boot.

Deicer in the trigger spray bottles (not aerosols) work good. I don't scrape either. Spray it on and leave for a few minutes before wiping off with a cloth. Only problem I have it the screen clouding up on the inside when the blowers are on.

If you have air conditioning turn it on that will clear it in seconds.
  • Oh yes, I love my Jazz. It's Tardis-like. I bought furniture recently and managed to fit a double frame bed (broken down of course, largest single piece was the headboard, longes was the length of a bed), a rocking chair and microwave oven inside in one trip, and there was loads of space left. It's particularly good because all the doors open all the way to 90 degrees, which means you can easily load stuff from the side.

Great big windscreen can be troublesome though when it does mist up.

Instead, 10 minutes before you need to see through the windscreen, place one or two (to clear passenger's view and the driver's wider view) hot water bottles inside, on the dashboard (what is called the scuttle, in some circles).

Or just put the heater on?

not just fold flat, the base of seat folds up against the back of the seat to create a huge floor to ceiling space in the middle of the car

    Yeah, it's good.

Had privacy glass in the back of mine, a couple of times I folded the back seats up, shoved the drivers' seat forward and used the back as an impromptu changing room....and I'm 6'2".

If they did a 1.8/2l Jazz, I really don't think I'd ever need to own another car...The 1.4's still just a little sluggish when heavily loaded.

....It put a load of tiny scratches in the glass which became very visible once the sun hit them.

Unfortunately it was a four year lease and it annoyed the hell out of me for the remaining 3 and a half years.
If that ever happens again, get a Cerium Oxide scratch remover kit for a few pounds.

It is a very fine abrasive polisher.

With a powered polisher or electric drill it will remove very fine scratches.

I used it successfully on a second hand car that had quite a deep scratch from the windscreen wiper right in my eye line.
