    Ain't it strange that spammers never seem to have any problems starting a new thread, in fact dozens of new threads as soon as they have joined.

    A lot of them won't be using the button but would be going there straight via a pre-formatted url that is easy to work out and program on a vBulletin board.

    For example click --> http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=163

  • I have also searched for the 'new thread button' without success. Going elsewhere for advice now. It shouldn't be this difficult, sorry.

    This is an old thread now perhaps to get better response, you can click on forum title perhaps "site feedback" and then click on big blue button on left hand side marked New Thread?

    That's were it is in the better older style layout anyway?

    Try actually looking in a forum - Most people suffering thread-button-blindness seem to be viewing threads instead.

    Then it will be an easy step to go back and read the Forum Intro Guide, which explains all and should have been read in the first place.

    Its big and pink. At the top of every forum and subform you can post on.
  • I've had this problem too (newb) I've spent hours trying to find this button. It appears to on some forums but not others. such as Citizens Advice Bureau. Try that and you will see there is no button.
