hi everyone,
Well just paid another 15 off my barclaycard. I have just counted my change just need about another £5 to have £40 to bag up so that will be sorted at weekend. Going to pay £100 off tomoz and waiting for my amazon payment which is about £50 to come through so hopefully that will be £200 paid off. Then i get paid next week so will pay another £100 so hopefully the total remaining will be going right down.
have a good day

Morning all
I've managed to pay off another £10 today from a cleared cheque and one of my freebie items sold for £7.50 on Ebay overnight so I'm pleased with that.
Anyway, must go to work.

I seem to have stalled a bit in the last few days but am going home to visit my parents at the weekend and I'm sure that there are loads of my things there that are ready to ebay!
Need to come up with a genius money making scheme for the next couple of weeks though - perhaps I'll have to start baking cakes and selling them at work!

Hi Emily,
I love your upbeat attitude to attacking debt :T . I am feeling upset by mine and can't wait to start fighting mine when I land in England again on 21st August after a year's career break abroad.
I don't regret a single day of my trip - I have taught penniless Peruvians in Huancayo, near Lima; I have helped in an orphanage; done tonnes of sightseeing (the Amazonian Jungle is such a wonderful place! Everyone should go there at least once in their lives!).
Debt is such a scary thing, it stops you seeing friends, socialising, and has got me living with my parents again. Its a good learning experience to take finances more seriously though, and at least we're learning now rather than later on in life, eh?
Keep your positive attitude, lady! You inspired me today, thanks!:j

I phoned to see about delivering the thomson directory. Just waiting on a callback from then to see what the earnings could be. DD delivered ikea catalogue and got £0.08 per copy so I would be happy to get that for delivering this. Dunno if it will be any good for this challenge though. x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Hi all hope everyone has been having a good week.
I have about £40.00 so far toward Capital One trying not to count it until the end of the week. Sad I know the things I look forward to now!
Can anyone help me with Amazon. I have lots of books that I have read once and know I wont read again so I had the bright idea of selling them on Amazon after seeing how well people do on here. When I tried to sell them I had to register with a credit card. The problem is I have cut up all my credit cards. Should I request a replacement from Capital One so I can sign up or do you think this would be a bad idea.
Thanks xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

I don't have a credit card but I sell things on amazon so I must of used my debit (switch card) - I would try your debit card - I'm sure that will be fine. Good luck - I'm sure you'll find amazon very addictive - watch the weight of the books/postage though - I have a postage table on the wall above my computer and weigh books before I list to make sure postage is covered in the money I get (and a little profit too)
