I'm at work on nightshift tonight, and brought a huge bag of stuff to list on Ebay. It all has to go into my business account if it sells, so it can't go directly to the challenge but I leave a min of £500 in there to cover any DDs for fees etc, so anything over than can be withdrawn for myslef. It'll never sell unless it is listed, so here goes...!

Found 30 Euros plus a few coins in the house earlier today, so going to see if I can get them changed for free anywhere and put that towards this total, but if it's not worth it I'll just hang on to them until the next holiday (2012, when we're debt-free!), unless we get to the end of the month and I'm just a tiny bit short!

    Morning all

I have just paid another £20 off the card so I am below the £300 mark :D :j

Fingers crossed that a prize arrives today otherwise I will be forced to list my vouchers on Ebay to meet my next £50 target on there. My Ebay items are going nicely at the moment with £34 altogether plus the £10 item I sold earlier in the week.

    Have a good day everyone.

ARGH - I went out last night for drinks after work, allowed myself a budget of £20, and very annoyingly ended up spending £40! I'm not sure what is worse, my hangover or the annoyance of overspending!

  • oh vls you've still got to have a life. I am going to a wedding tonight and kinda glad it is miles away so I have to take the car. It is in a castle so no doubt will be mega expensive but if I had a few wines I wouldn't give a monkeys and would act like a rich woman. Climb back on the DFW horse. I am looking at this as a challenge and if I manage to do it then fantastic but if I dont then I will still have paid off extra so it's all good. I doubt I iwllbe able to pay anything now until the last week as every penny accounted for until then  . Never mind xx
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

Had a letter from Barclaycard today telling me that they had decided to drop my limit and that they would not reconsider their decision!!

It has made me even more determined to tell them to shove their card where the sun don't shine at the end of this month now!!! ;)

Unfortunately, there were no prizes for me today so the vouchers are hanging on by a thread. Their only hope is that something turns up tomorrow.

Hope everyone else has had a good day :D

Ooooh Emily, the best revenge will be to pay it off, close it, and then tell them exactly what they can do with the card! :T :T

I know, I can't wait now :D - it's the worst thing they could have done as it has made me all the more determined. Perhaps I should get Capital One to do the same as that will be the subject of my next challenge!! ;)
