Ok, I'm a week late too but have only just spotted this thread. I have a HSBC card which dispite what my signature says, I owe £497 on it. :o I did a Asda shop last month which has addedd to my balance. Now, I'm sure that I won't pay the whole thing off my the end of the month, but the more the better! I have loads of things to list on ebay but does anyone know how long it takes to transfer funds from paypal to a current account?

    Thanks all and good luck!

Welcome to the challenge and good luck :D

As a guide, if I take money out of Paypal on the Sunday evening/Monday morning (my auctions always finish on Sundays) then the money will be in my account by the Friday.

I haven't managed to pay any more off my card today but one of my items on Ebay is now up to £32 with just over 3 days to go :D :j .

I have also just received my cheque for the £10 item I sold earlier in the week so I will cash that and pay it off pronto.

I received a £10 M&S voucher in the post today (must be a competition) which I can always sell along with my Boots and Argos vouchers if I get desperate (£40 in vouchers altogether), although I would like to try and save them to put towards Christmas.

£20 of my mystery shopping money is winging its way to my account too so that will come straight off the card shortly.

Have just logged onto my Barclaycard account and they have downed my limit to £340 instead of £380. Strange as I have always paid the minimum payments on time. Oh well, at least I am closing it at the end of this month ;) .
  • I have been busy making up bags of organic pot pourri for my boot sale on Saturday. I have 15 bags and if I sell them at £1.75 per bag I will make about £7 profit. Also have lots of other stuff for sale. Kids have loads too but they are to get keeping their money. Has anyone ever taken home baking to a car boot ? if so then how did it go? x

Realised I had a wee tenner in my paypal account so have paid that off . That'll keep me happy for a wee while. Thats me under £100 owed now. Yay go me !!
