That's was my worst category

I scoured yoo toob for the best way and found this
Based on this Lady's method works best for me
My sons are adults though so they each have their own file.
With everything to do with them in their own ring binder.
Anything personal they have a closed file I don't go in

Today I kondoed the mortgage with a cheque for the outstanding amount .............so finally we are mortgage free and its feeling wonderful:j I know its not technically kondoing in the purist sense but it has put me in a great mood and now I feel anything might be possible:)

I'm just making a flying visit onto t'web as am packing and tidying etc prior to catching a lift with a pal who's heading out across the county and offered to drop me at the parental home. Where there is a Loft, a loft with my name on it. Gimme your clutter, your huddled masses yearning to be free(cycled). Come to momma, cluttery bits, come to momma.

Had a msg from a freegler apologising for not having collected as promised and will come tomorrow. Not a problem as its a small low value item and in the outdoor hidey-hole so they can self-serve.

If there are suitcases to be shed, they'll definately be offered on freegle. I suspect chazzers might bin stuff which folks would like to get their hands on for a modest charge, out of ignorance or it just being too low value for the amount of space it takes up.

I think one of the reasons Mum lets me help her declutter is that she knows that I do it responsibly and don't just throw stuff at the nearest bin. Makes it easier that our minds are on the same track. Mysterious really, you'd think she'd brought me up or something.:rotfl:

Onwards and upwards, first full day in the loft will be Sunday.

I have loved all the Mins lists, I have spent so much time away from home that I couldn't join in, but may be tempted in a while.

Although not strictly adhering to the order laid down in the bible, I did start on the SB cupboard of doom where my paperwork has been residing for the past couple of years, everything for the last year sorted into categories, but not filed yet, which means after inspection it is likely that 90% of the rest of it will be able to go directly to the shredder:D. Incoming is "pruned" as it comes through the door and I need to have a set day for incorporating into the system. Thank you for all the great tips lovely Kondoers:D

Kondo must be catching as DH came out of his man cave with foot high pile of geeky magazines and 14 CDs for CS - and I hadn't even asked him. He just took 6 mags over to neighbour who was pleased to give them a home.

Have had DGS 7 months for an hour. Having cuppa then back to paperwork in study.

Brilliant news igamogam on the kondoing of the mortgage.

Just in from work need to nip shops and pick up some pizzas and junk food suitable for 20somethings to soak up drink with while they play spooky putter and board games through the night. ds1 is having a Halloween soiree just going through plans for sofa shuffling tomorrow so far it all seems very straight forward so should go smoothly.
Want a tidy/kondo in our room tomorrow to round off the mins game and get it ready for alarm guy to do his job next week.
I'm sure I should be able to find the remaining 31 items without too much trouble.
