mav, just seen your post, made while I was composing mine!

There are loads of these truisms on Pinteresting boards - I've been busy collecting some pithy ones for stitching and positioning around the house, to remind myself, and as subtle messages for some family members! :o

There is very little in life to actually bother about, apart from the people we care about, people we can help, and ourselves.

Worrying is a pointless waste of energy. Think about a problem. If you see a solution - DO IT. If not, leave it to 'percolate' unconsciously... either a solution will surface automatically, or Time will eventually resolve it anyway. :)

Just checking in again. I have kondoed 9 out of 12 boxes of papers and have just stopped to revitalise myself. It was only when I gathered them together that I realised what a blockage to enjoyment they were. I knew things were in there but could never find them without spending all day looking - like Marie says, now I will easily know if it's in there or not and can quickly seek other options.

The final three boxes are the oldest so probably the hardest. Wish me luck fellow Kondoers. :D

Have no fear, I'm not going anywhere! It's just that woo wasn't top of my list for the past 2 days (too much RL), and you and I always seem to think alike! So, I knew you could do the woo, when my head is elsewhere! (You've obviously got big feet! And most of my shoes were kondoed, as mine feet have spread!) :rotfl:I know you are not :)

I'd never heard of BCC either! Apparently, (after Google research on Monday night), it used to be called a 'rodent ulcer'! The opthalmic surgeon used that term yesterday, and I chipped in with "also known as BCC". He said "Oh, are you a pathologist?" I said "No, a trained researcher!" Laughs all round. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    :D

You're right about Life being hard. After 2 failed marriages and lone-parent to 5 children, I had become a dull pessimist, before recently finding JOY. Now, Life is a just a laugh, no matter what happens! It's just too silly to take seriously, once I realised there is very little (apart from the house) that I actually can control! :rotfl:
Snap iTwin 2 failed marriages on number 3 he has not been kondo'd yet ;) Single parent to just 1 and that was enough so respect to you :T
Like you, I am finding joy in all sorts of small things, like your baby rabbits, friends, flowers, bumble bees, misty hills, even the amazing purple bruises on my knee, after tripping over on Mr M's tiled floor on Monday! :rotfl:(Bl00dy non-slip soles on my walking boots!)
Note to self do not wear non-slip soles in Mr Ms:eek: Hope you soon get joy from the Yellow colours when they heal !

Oh, thanks for my new theme-song: (sings, badly) I'm still standing... tra la la!
Dont forget the next line 'Better than I ever did ';)

BTW, have you tried Red Bush tea, yet? I tried it in a cafe a few weeks ago, after all the hype I'd heard about it. Bleh! Glad I hadn't bought a pack! ;)
Vile vile vile back on strong Yorkshire :o

Time for a coffee and a bacon sandwich, methinks. :)

    Good for you xx

    Hi IQueen.

Glad to hear that your cancer is a BCC - that's very positive news.

I had a BCC removed in 2006. It was a big one, a birthmark on my face which for some reason went rogue. The surgeon did a superb job and I have a now very feint white scar which no one ever notices. 9 years later and it's never come back or relocated.

Big hugs and hope all goes well.

Having a good old sort out today, so much easier now the worst has been done. I still keep tweaking and finding more to Kondo but it looks so nice that I just like to keep on top.

Still not tackled the photos yet but no hurry. They've had a preliminary sort and are nicely put away into two boxes. I'll save them for the winter evenings.

Last week I kondoed the artworks, hung up the nice new ones, and the favourites, Donated a college. I need a couple of paintings reframed so,that's next on my list.

There's a pile of old unwanted frames, bits of BRIC a BRAC etc ready for,the chazza already sat in the boot of the car ready for tomorrow.

I'm really starting to,love this simpler uncluttered life - just need to kondoe the excess weight now...;)
